Could it be possible to use this with an xone controller or would it need another file? lacking a steam controller myself heh...
I'm afraid not, sorry. Game engine itself doesn't support basic Xbox-like controllers. Steam Controller is pretty specific piece of hardware which is seamlessly emulating keyboard and mouse so it can be used with any game, even so old as STALKER SHoC or even DooM. This is why it is possible to use it with OGSE.
Yeah, just noticed in some articles about it, oh well, thanks anyway :).
I'll certainly try and get one, they seem better at emulating kb+m than the usual controller.
I have to disagree with that, I have played all stalker games, plus Lost Alpha, Oblivion Lost, SGM, Misery, CoC, CoM (playing) in a laptop connected to a TV with a XBOX 360 controller without a problem. JoyToKey is the Key :D
btw i was here because OGSE, and of course I'm going to play it with my Old XBOX controller when i finish my CoM playthrough.

Dunno why guys says it wasn't, I like it a lot. Pretty comfortable with first-person shooters. Played many games with it without any problems.
hm thanks this seems very interesting, however it isnt working for me with 360 controller. im there is some one how can play with an oldschool xbox 360 controller just leave a messenge plz and share your fix to the prob plz.
