A series of minor map modes that I have made, from aoe3.heavengames.com. Included are: Abe's Maps, Balanced TSREV Maps, Boom Maps, Capitano Maps, Crimson Maps, Crystal Maps, Dave's Maps, Fine Maps, First Maps, Impeccable Maps, Island Polynesia, Islander Pacific Sea, Ivory Maps, Jolly Maps, NR Indonesian Maps, Outlaw Native Desert, Quest Maps, Ruby Maps, Silly Maps, Tryhard Maps. All these map modes have extra units and extra resources.
I have uploaded these files from aoe3.heavengames.com to give other players access to them from a more public site.

Click "Custom Maps" in Skirmisher or Multiplayer to Select.
To get the AI to play on games with starting Military Units, begin in Colonial Age. I advise as on other game modes that if you play without a Treaty begin in Colonial Age, to grant all players a chance to win or get an exciting match with the AI.
