This is the complete build of Forbidden Trip - Cadaver Party Project.
The archive contains the full adventure.
Remove any previous builds.
It has been thoroughly tested.
It will be updated with small patches if needed.

- A few emails you receive contained outdated data (old .ml links which are discontinued because not reliable). Now FT only uses bitly links, they just work perfectly.
- Two text strings were also updated to reflect changes and correct one typo.
1.5.28: 6th of August 2023 ๐
- Updated Windows 64 bit launcher (Forbidden_Trip_Windows_x64.exe);
FT now uses its own Amnesia 64 bit exe (Amnesia_NoSteam_20230211_FT_x64.exe) to make future updates & addon integration easy.
It's better to use the 64 bit launcher on Windows!

1.5.26 "Brunskys": 21st of May 2023 ๐ฆ
- Removed advanced settings launcher to avoid panic with false antivirus alerts.
You can get it separately here, don't worry if you have a virus alert, the file is totally safe.
1.5.25: 23rd of February 2023 ๐จ
- New details in two maps (prologue and one ending).
- An old, broken texture was updated (forest).
- Better effects were added (during another ending).

1.5.23: 17th of November 2022 ๐ง
- Redone numerous particles, lighting systems, entities…
- … to optimize four of the new maps (temple, theatre, sento, city streets).
It was a lot of work but FPS should be better now.
- Optimized one "older" map (destroyed school F1 - Northern section).
- Improved tips, quests and added a new note in most recent levels.
- Added two missing sound effects during concert.
I forgot to include them earlier.
- More details in new maps!
- Minor edits and tweaks as well.
- Minor update in credits.
- Minor UI updates.
- Launcher was redone:
- Removed all things related to Steam. ๐งน๐
- No more Steam Workshop link: mod.io is A LOT better.
We'll see in the future if and how it will be implemented.
- Now you will find [Support] button, which redirects to Mod DB, plus also [Projects] which shows all creations by Yanka Prod.
- Launcher can be detected as malware by some antivirus softwares: it's a false positive, no worries. I contacted every concerned AV companies to get verifications then whitelisting for the launcher. Some AV already updated their definitions while other requests are still pending.
1.5.22: 31st of October 2022 ๐
- e1l2: improved a puzzle room (lights, sounds),
improved lights in the courtyards. Updated fog in an area.
- e1l3: updated map with most recent geometry,
improved lights in the courtyards.
- e1l4: improved a minor event.
- e2l9: added a second light bulb plus some details in the beginning area.
Updated outdated grass texture.
- Two edits in localization and credits.

- Updated readme with most up-to-date instructions for all systems, tips and links.

- Patch to fix two quests that would not complete correctly, corrected a typo, added a little hint in a quest, updated three emails to help avoiding to miss important information.
1.5.19: 15th of October 2022 ๐ฆ
- Hotfix to correct an issue where the player could duplicate a broken flashlight at some point if he never repaired it through the game. This could cause problems with the flashlight later.

It is advised to have a fresh and up-to-date installation of Amnesia to avoid potential crashes/conflicts with outdated, broken props or textures that have been corrected for this project.
It means: no mods, no custom content at all. It's important!
FT is tested and compatible with Enhanced Shaders by Stayd!
It is a Total Conversion: just copy the Forbidden_Trip folder inside the archive at the root of your Steam Amnesia folder.
The launchers are inside the Forbidden_Trip folder.
For details or other installations types, check the included readme.
If you play on Windows, please play on a 64 bit OS!
You may have crashes when using a 32 bit OS!!
Tested on Linux, should work on macOs (32 bit only for that last one).
For support on these two platforms, please search online.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Forbidden Trip is a Total Conversion where you need a stronger configuration than the original Amnesia game!
As it was already said in the past & during the game startup, it's best to use a 64 bit OS to avoid crashes plus also at least 8gb of RAM and 8gb of VRAM. Have at least 20go of free disk space.
Play with a 1080p resolution or 720p if you have an older configuration, using the performance mode when starting a new game.
4K is not recommended with Amnesia and its mods since the engine is not designed for that.
If you insist and really want to play in 4K, have a go, though don't send me feedback about potential problems: it will be ignored.
Forbidden Trip has its own 'old-school' graphics mode which can also help with old computers, so keep it if needed! Instructions to have the 'old-school' graphics (re-)activated are given on game startup.
Game can run with 2gb of VRAM: that's what I used during 6-7 years.
Though, I recommend at least 6gb of VRAM.
If you have an older computer, set all advanced video settings to low or off and play with a lower resolution (720p or less). It could run even if there are still some FPS drops. That's what I did at some point with an older laptop (this machine ๐ฅ, not made for gaming at all; the only thing upgraded was RAM, from 4gb to 8gb). So yes, I'm sure you can play the game. ๐
In conclusion, don't be afraid to lower the advanced settings, keep the 'old-school' graphics and launch a 'Performance Mode' game; hey, it will look like Silent Hill! ๐ค
What's new in 1.5.18? To make it short…
- Game is ๐ complete ๐, a little more than 9 years and a half since the project started. ๐พ
- Various new maps: not spoiling more, already shown various screenshots. See for yourself!
- New endings obtainable (yep, there was already one secret ending accessible previously, without counting those bad endings). ๐
- Performance mode was redone, it is now implemented properly and is available for new maps too.
- Some fixes and improvements in previous levels or meta-content; you know me.
- Big optimization works made maps with FPS loss now perform normally! ๐
Had to do some deep search and digging while reading maps' code but it was really worth it.
- UI updates, new backgrounds for game start, loadings, etc.
- More things less important or noticeable: corrected typos, improved checkpoints, changed some textures, edited minor things in story, improved code in some places, etc.

- This update corrects the numerous broken/removed decals in the infirmary map.
I had to work from the previous version of this level because the 1.3.2 version had been corrupted for an unknown reason. ๐
- Two visual tips were improved for this level.

This update brings various corrections and improvements:
- The infirmary puzzles are now easier to figure.
- New tips, quest & details in environment.
- A critical bug in the infirmary was corrected.
- Infamous invisible fire in the stove bug after loading a save for that level.
It would make the puzzle very hard to figure.
- Electro anomaly no more instantly kills you or drains your life to absolute zero.
- It will hurt you until you die, a more classic behaviour. It will make some sections easier.
- Integrated Darkfire's new Nature Assets Pack.
- It upgrades some vegetation, grass & trees to nicer, animated models.
I will manually update old models with those in various maps later when needed.

NOTE: Episode Selection
You can select any episode you want to play or replay; everything is unlocked by default, if you just want to explore certain parts of the game and have fun with it!
See those episodes like mini-mods. So, if you exit the game after playing in one of those episodes, be sure to reopen the same one later and select Resume or Load there to get your saves. ;)

Why setting up a password for an archive that is released to the public?
Just to make sure players will read the description which contains basic tips/troubleshooting, that's all! :)
I mean, you can just include a troubleshooting guide inside the archive, it's their problem for not reading or checking out a file that's literally included with the mod.
I totally agree but you know, I thought "maybe there will be less players having basic problems" while doing it this way. Well, I hope you will have some fun with the mod!

the patch does nothing it still crashes on the same spot when the player gets to his car
Do you mean when the next level begins loading?
Do you play on Steam, retail... ?
Did you play from the beginning using 1.1 Patch?
When you crash, have you tried resuming your game with the last save/autosave? Same problem?
I suppose you don't click/use keyboard either during loadings (Amnesia doesn't really like it).
What is your hardware?
Any particular error message?
