- When launching Classic Doom use the in-game engine title name on the game's window
- Suppress Doom 3 messages on Classic Doom when running in 2019 mode

- EXPINFO final_text can now get full text (one line with multiple \n).
- Ultimate Doom Maps that have final_text defined will move to the next level if it isn't the EndGame

Right now the FPS is bound to the game logic. So no, but I will look into it for a future release.

Sorry to bother you again but I'm having trouble getting custom maps (I.e. Sewers or Betray) to work with EXPinfo without it crashing or other errors, any advice?
For Betray you don't need EXPINFO. If you are using the BFG DOOM 2 IWAD it has fixed logic.
As for sewers, Try that EXPINFO 1drv.ms
Sewers still crashes upon entry because it's missing a CWILV patch but the other maps work fine, Pastebin.com Here's the logfile pastebin

That said, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm running into a new issue with this build. OpenGL is failing to initialize. Did the system requirements change any? If not, did you want me to PM you my specs and log file?
No they didn't. What changed is that is using the custom width & height for fullscreen. Their default values are 1280x720. You can try with "+set r_fullscreen 0".

In both versions (BFA and Classic) Dehacked patches doesn't work. I'm using the game launcher to load them. For example, in Map 12 from Zombies TC you can walk
through the grass and Mancubus are hidden. When Dehacked patch isn't loaded you can not walk through the grass and Mancubus attack you.
Apparently there is a bug with the file loading. It will be fixed on the next release. For now try to put the .DEH inside the WAD file and rename it to DEHACKED.
hi i have one problem i use HDUltimate for the bfg edition plus the classic bfa 1.2.3 and i can't swicht weapon from mouse the wheel don't work or is slow but without your mod is fine i don't know how to do is it fixeable? thanks.

This mod could be what Doom 3 BFG should have been.
So much easier to navigate between the games and be able to change the flashlight mode or skip the cutscene I love it.
But I have just a little problem, the viewmodelfov does not seems to change with the 100 FOV.
edit : So it works, but when you change the fov with : g_fov X
I found an odd issue. If you start classic Doom campaigns and quit to start another WAD, the game will often lock up. I'd say go ahead and start Doom 2 then pick "new game" and go down the campaign list again and again. It should lock up by the time you reach Master Levels.
Have you installed the msvc 2015-2019 that comes with it ? I don't experience that kind of lock up.
I have, and each one of those campaigns does work however switching back and forth between them seems to be what causes the lockup.
The latest revision seems to have fixed the problem. I swapped back and forth between numerous campaigns in the classic games without issue. Thank you!

I am wondering, what are some of the biggest advantages of BFA over RBDoom 3 BFG?
I am trying to figure out the "best " way to experience Doom 3 again with a mostly vanilla experience but with some enhancements. My options seem limitless. There is original Doom 3 + mods (Redux for example), Dhewm + mods (Doom 3 source port) and then there's RBDoom 3 BFG and now BFA... I can't keep track of it all!
As far as I can tell, BFG seems more desirable by default since I can crank the FPS up to 120. But beyond that, why might you recommend BFA over RBDoom or vanilla BFG? And can you recommend texture packs or etc. that work with BFA?
For example, this (https://www.moddb.com/mods/doom-3-bfg-hi-def) looks pretty outstanding in that it seems to improve visuals and sounds but not gameplay, but it was last updated in 2017 and it apparently uses a custom RBDoom and not BFA?
Anyways, I am very much a lay person here and just looking for some help to get the best possible enhanced Doom 3 experience, and would appreciate any and all guidance you might be able to give. It's my understanding that BFA doesn't include any enhanced textures/sounds by default; if you could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful!
Edit: Also, I noticed that it mentions "game DLL support is nearly complete" - what does this mean for me as someone who is wanting to play through the game? Does this effect me in some way or is this more for modders or something else?
