Description

A mod focused on balancing both multiplayer and campaign battles within Broken Crescent. Among other things, the mod adds unit caps based on unit quality/Cost/Faction playstyle and other factors to Custom battles, increases unit sizes by 70%, rebalances high level shock infantry, fixes the Varangian Guard Axe attack animation, standardizes unit costs across all factions, Javelin units that cost under 325 do not have the thrown trait (With a few exceptions), A few new units for certain factions while taking some units from other factions for balancing, and adds new traits and abilities to various units. This is on top of many small stats changes and the removal of all terrain effects on unit stats from the game, for a more balanced experience that makes the job of balancing factions much easier and makes for more entertaining gameplay. Huge thanks to Geoffrey of Villehardouin for his "Tweaks and Balances" mod for being the basis for the mod.

How exactly did it crash for you? If it crashes on the Splash screen after a brief second of your mouse turning into a blue circle, then you might have installed it or changed the EDU file in a way that caused the crash. For my installation it does crash at the end of a Custom battle on Occasion, but thats BC instability.

Please note, If upon launch it says "Medieval 2 Has encountered an Unexpected Error" then that is just a regular crash and if you launch it again it will work. Also please walk me through how you installed the mod.

I play BC 2.4 without any issues. Tried to play your submod and followed instructions (i unziped and copy pasted the file into the BC installation folder) and when i tried to start the mod it crashed on the first loading screen without any message, just straight up crash. Hope that helps!

I presume this is a steam installation? What I would recommend doing is copying the files from the download (Export_descr_unit, transition screen, all those text files located within the downloads data folder) and then open the data folder of the Broken Crescent mod and paste them in. Click replace all files for all of them, and that should work.

It sounds like the pathway for the mod installation was screwed up somehow when you installed it so that the files did not actually go into data or made duplicates and that is why it instantly crashes, because it cant read the files properly.

I have taken the time to reinstall the submod unto vanilla broken crescent using this method, and I've had no problems using the method I just mentioned. Again, if the Installation pathway is correctly done, you will get a notification from your computer saying that you already have these files in your Vanilla Broken Crescent, you want to click replace all for those files.

I tested all the files on my own BC copy before uploading, so I can assure you that the files themselves should work just fine.
Hope this helps.

Just to make this clear, transfer all the files within the .zip, not just the text files.

Almost always Seljuks and Ottoman Empire were alone and had a few soldiers against crusaders and westerns but still hadding crushing victory. It means the best soldiers in the World. Also West and Eastern Huns were same!

No there's no real evidence of connection between west and east Huns. Also while there's no denying their victories, best in the world can be subjective.

If you're Turkish and pan-Turk you should know you're not really one of the easterners. You are likely almost full blooded Anatolian.

I'm no pan-turkist but I gotta tell you there is no such thing as a full blooded Anatolian.
