This is a remod of the original doom data to give a fresh look using its own animations while maintaining the vanilla game play intact for weapons and monsters.
This is predominantly an aesthetic mod in the same vein as Smooth Doom, a definite inspiration for this work.

This is a remod of the original doom data to give a fresh look using its own animations while maintaining the vanilla game play intact for weapons and monsters.
This is predominantly an aesthetic mod in the same vein as Smooth Doom, a definite inspiration for this work.
The Weapon animations on the Chainsaw, Pistol, Shotgun, SuperShotgun Chaingun, and Plasmagun have been altered to give different ready positions and firing animations.
The weapon timings have been kept fully intact to the vanilla ratios.
Monster death animations have been sped up so they fall over faster; monster walking animations have been smoothed out, and explosions have faster animations as well.
This mod is also tailored toward the visual aspects of FreeDoom in the same way as listed above
This mod is not compatible with weapon or monster mods, but it is compatible with any map that uses default weapons and monster resources..
Just load this zip into your source port as is or in a mod loader like ZDL
This looks just awful
The mod plays just like regular doom. Its an aesthetic mod only. All weapon timing is 1:1 even with the oddly timed chaingun.
