The full DOS Command and Conquer game, with DOSBox included in the pack, with a bunch of small tweaks and bug fixes.
Includes:
- The full game, with all videos and music.
- The Covert Operations expansion pack.
- The unique Special Ops missions from Playstation and N64.
- A launcher for the dinosaur missions "Funpark" mode.
- A units and structures editor.
- A tool to enable hidden options in the game (like showing civilian names).
Several bug fixes and tweaks were applied to the game, some unique, some to bring it closer to the 1.06 patch I made for the Windows 95 version of the game:
- Enabled stereo directional sound effects through a tweak in the config file.
- Fixed Rocket Launcher turret to aim upwards.
- Enabled selection of primary building on helipads.
- Fixed tech level of the Chem Warrior to make it 98 instead of 99.
- Disabled the option that makes the Chem-Warrior randomly walk around.
- Fixed sequence error in engineer death animation from anti-armor-weapon.
- Fixed Funpark savegame bug where it saves the player ID as the campaign ID.
- Fixed savegame loading where it ignores setting the campaign ID if it is above 2.
- Made dinosaurs visible outside Funpark mode.
- Fixed a bunch of mission errors.
I love how this includes the Nintendo 64 Special Ops missions.
Well, you know, I was the one who extracted and converted those. Might as well include them in this.
Have you done a dos version of RA1 and Dune 2000 thats pre patch and stuff im new to dos and struggleing with patches im intending running them on DOSBox Pure
There's never been a DOS version of Dune 2000... it's a Windows game.
do you know how to run this if you dont have a CD Rom drive? if i try and us dos box it just tells me it cant fid the CD. If i try and run the setup file, it tells me my PC cant run it (i saw in the instructions to run it from your CD ROM drive path, but i dont have on
Setup file? What are you talking about? This pack has a launch file (0 Launch Command and Conquer.bat) that you just need to double-click to run it.
If you want to know how to involve actual CD-ROM drives, then consult the DOSBox manual. But this pack needs no such thing.
Will these changes/fixes that you made cause any issues when playing multiplayer with clients that are just running the stock game?
