Here it is; the third release of the mod. This one will add many changes, from new units and models to new particle effects.
To install, delete all old versions of the mod and simply extract the .rar file and place the "Canon Mod" folder into the Mods folder of your Forces of Corruption folder. If you don't have one, just create it. For more detailed instructions, view the readme.
This mod adds several new units to both ground and space combat. For ground combat, all sizes for units have been redone to give a more accurate scaling. Also, air units have been added to every side.
In space, most of what is new comes in either new models or hardpoint adjustments. Most of the "new" units are actually replacements or reskins for old units. Hardpoints have been adjusted, particularly for space stations and capital ships to make them far more dangerous opponents to attack with light units.

I want to give a very specific thank-you to the_Farseer for all the help he has given me, from questions about modding to help with models to new particles and effects. You should check out his mod, Rise of the Mandalorians, which is also on moddb and filefront, and is very good. Also, I want to thank johnny21, for his help regarding the canonity of units. He has also been a big help for this release. I also want to thank everyone who has contributed to this mod in one way or another; from the new models and particles to comments and suggestions on moddb and filefront. I would have a hard time making this mod better without you guys!

Found a bug...Space stations for Rebels and Imperials are already on fire when a battle starts, and every ship except artillery (Broadside Cruisers, Marauders, etc.) CANNOT fire on the station, no matter what you do.
what map? is it gc or skirmish? which side are you playing as? i have never encountered this bug. give me all the details so i can check it out. first retry your install, it sounds like you may have corrupt data
It's on the Equal Footing map for Galactic Conquest, And I'm playing as the Imperials.
Ah, the issue resolved itself. It was a corrupted install. Thank you so much for this p*a*t*t*o*n. this has got to be one of my favourite mods for any game.
Note: I've re-installed the mod and I'm not sure if it matters or not, but after backing up the main data files I've put this mod's files in the game's main data folder. I did this because the shortcut ignores the addition you said to make in the destination tag.
Did you put the canon mod folder in the mods folder in the root foc folder? If so the target should find he mod provided everything is spelled and worded exactly the same (eg. Canon Mod won't locate a folder named Canon_Mod). Also, when creating the target location in the icon properties, male sure to put a space between what is already there and what you add (the MODPATH=Mods....etc.)
Ah, I got it. I couldn't use the original destination tag because it was directed to use the EAWXLauncher.exe as the starting program. I needed to change it to swfoc.exe to get it to work. Sorry for my ignorance.

write down your path, and just your path, EXACTLY as it appears in the window in the properties tab of your icon. you may have something written in incorrectly
sorry for the late response felix, ive been busy. heres the path i have for mine. its on vista and its the english version, but its an exact straight copy from my path:
"C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption\swfoc.exe" MODPATH=Mods\Canon_Mod

hey, one question, this mod loooks great, but i dont have winrar to open the rar file so could you please make it into folders like my other mods? they are simpler to me and easier to navigate than others

will this work for steam and if so, what is the correct path?
havent tried it on steam so I am not sure. what you can do is copy the Canon Mod "Data" folder into the FoC "Data" folder and when it asks you if you want to overwrite click "OK". make sure you make a back-up copy of your original FoC "Data" folder, though. then the mod should run when you run the game. you will also have to remove all other mods for it to work. hope this helps.
