Love what you've done here, but the Aliens are way way way too fast, seriously. I thought it would be great to try this with "The Way Id Did" map set and it looks awesome, but even on easy it's impossible to survive after a few levels, please at least give an option to have the Aliens move more like the original Alien Trilogy.
I slowed down the enemies myself, now I can really appreciate the amazing work you have done here, really awesome. I am still having an issue though, there isn't any music on episode 1, can't even overide with my own pk3?
Just had a look with Slade. I think the file BLANKS.WAD inside of this mod is causing your problem, that and Kommando's music is not using the original DOOM titles.
Thanks... I actually sorted it by deleting the "ALIENS_Music_Player.acs" file from the archive.

That's great, this mod is so good :)
It would seem there is still an issue of enemies being clumped together rather than spread out through the levels, obviously your using some kind of randomizing script which is a great idea because it generates a different experience with each play, but at the moment I find that the majority of the level is empty, whilst certain areas are overwhelming to say the least, or maybe it's because I'm playing on 3rd party wads like "Wonderful Doom". Also, is there a way to prevent enemies hearing gun shot's, as this also causes enemies to gather and clump, I find there's much more jump scare when they suddenly leap from out of nowhere at you?
I sorted my personal issue of enemies hearing shots and all running and clumping behind doors and walls by adding the +AMBUSH flag to each of the decorate files and it plays so much better now that they don't all come running at once, there's even some great jump scare moments as you tend to creep around more slowly when you don't know whats around the corner, especially on E2M2 of Ultimate Doom with all the crates, scary as hell. I hope my continuous input isn't a burden for you, I rarely take this much interest in a mod, and my constant suggestions only reflect my love for this and the work you have done, looking forward to your next release :)
Don't worry, I really appreciate the feedback! As a matter of fact, I was working on a map of e1m1 as one level. I want to make an official "Knee Deep in Acid" map, that is tailored for Aliens Trilogy/Aliens: The Ultimate Doom. I will remove all of the line definitions that prevent enemies from entering areas, and create barriers, so they don't fall into pits. I will also rearrange the enemy placement.
Awesome... It's so creepy not knowing where they are, and then they just come running out at you, you literally go into panic mode lol
This looks amazing! How can I install this? This. I have ZDL, GZ Doom and the Doom collection. I just don't how to install this.

Hey, so after downloading this mod my HUD doesn't seem to show any of the health stats or anything like that, all I see is the motion sensor and a repeated texture down the bottom of the screen that I can adjust the scale of within the options, but it doesn't fix anything, just an empty repeated texture with no info on ammo count or anything.
Could this be because I don't have the Doom 3 WAD as well as Doom 1 and 2?
Great mod, really captures a mix of horror and action. I have two gripes: One is with the inclusion of Predators? They seem like an oddball choice and sort of out of place with the theme of the mod. Also, some of the door textures are hard to spot in some maps, a more clearly defined "This is a door" texture would be more helpful.
And I saw that there are grenades, but couldn't see a bind for them, and wasn't able to select them as an inventory item. A bug? Or am I missing something obvious?
Also, Moddb.com really helps enhance the creepy factor of this mod.
Grenades is your secondary fire on the Pulse Rifle bud... And yeah, I agree the Predators do feel kinda out of place, pretty cool though :)

Looking awesome, but when I push the button for the motion tracker or the music change it gives me a script error. Also I can't seem to shoot with the smartgun. Btw bloody hell job mod mate :D

I hate to say it but i really do prefer the sprites from beta 9.2 as they fit the theme for a doom mod but these ones look a bit too goofy so i'm hoping these ain't new sprites permanent.

Hello there, I'm here to report an issue I seem to be having when attempting to change music tracks or disable the motion tracker, as none of the two functions appear to work propely.
(This issue also persists in "ALIENS: The Ultimate Doom 9.2" )
When I bind the keys for both and try to use them while in game, these two messages seem to appear respectively in console:
"P_StartScript: Unknown script 999" (music)
"P_StartScript: Unknown script 797" (motion tracker)
I have tried to use GZDoom 3.3.2 and Zandronum 3.0 but the result is always the same.
Any help reguarding this would be greatly apreciated, thanks in advance!
