Now onto the main description.
This is an extensive re-edit of the NTMAI Monsters file that changes how they fight and how dangerous they are. NTMAI, for those that don't know, is a Doom Mod that was built to utilize GZDoom assets to make Doom feel more like a Build Engine game style in vein of Duke 3D and Blood. What this meant for the monsters is that they are much more mobile and have extra attacks in some cases.
The issue I had was that the monsters were still too weak compared to the enhanced power of the Player character of NTMAI Doomguy. In this vein, I set out to overhaul the monsters to something more fitting, and more difficult to bring the NTMAI monsters up to par with both Brutal Doom difficulty. So this project of 2Tuff2 NTMAI became what you see as the best I can do. And Quite Frankly, this Monster Pack is HELLA HARD. It breathed in new life, and new laughs into the Doom 2 vanilla campaign even on Hurt Me Plenty. The laughs come from more infighting.
My best suggestion is just dive right into playing this mod, but here's a short description of what to expect from each monster:
Zombiemen and Shotgunners and Chaingunners: High Speed, accurate, and not the pushovers they always were before. These are now sturdy crack troops
Imp: Put simply you are going to respect imps now. Much more sturdy and fast. They are THE most mobile ground unit.
Pinky- These guys are now the perfect distraction and shock troop. Fastest moving unit.
Cacodemon: Much faster, and have a melee.
Lost Soul: Much more aggressive.
Revenant: Slightly faster and have jetpacks.
Barons and Hell Knights: More health and much better movement speeds.
I think you get the gist. The biggest changes were made to the Zombie Men and Shotgunners simply because I was tired of them being pointless ammunition drops with legs.
