Warzone 2100 is a real-time strategy game, originally developed by Pumpkin Studios and published by Eidos-Interactive™.
Although comparable to other 3D RTS games, it does contain some features that are unique. These include various radar technologies, a greater focus on artillery and counter-battery technologies, as well as a different vehicle design method. It was released in 1999 for PC and Playstation®.
In late 2004 Warzone was released by its copyright holders, Eidos-Interactive™, to the public under the GNU General Public License (GPL), and the Warzone 2100 Project was born.
The Warzone 2100 Project aims to continue the vision of Pumpkin studios started in 1999 with the game Warzone 2100, Which was closed source until Dec 6, 2004 when it was let out the doors for the first time under a GPL license.

im confused how do you make alliances on skirmish...I cant figure it out and all the ais are doing it or can the player just not make an alliance
How i can start playing Warzone2100 ???
I can't get past the so library not being available: "./warzone2100-64: error while loading shared libraries: libGLEWmx.so.1.5" . The library is installed - but the 64 bit version. I've also installed the 32 bit version to allow compatibility - but I guess it's looking for an exact name match.
Anyone got this to work?
Oh - for anyone else struggling you also need the following libraries:
libminiupnpc
libphysfs

watched the trailer liked it epic soundtrack however you need better graphics good game and good luck
I think the graphics are fine
you don't need good graphics for a strategy game-_-
Its a old game being brought back, thats why the graphics are bad.
