This package will update all versions of CoC between 1.4.00 and 1.4.18 to 1.4.19. Please read the description:
MAY REQUIRE A NEW GAME
Beware that updating can ruin your game if you are using addons that alter the changed files in the patch.
Installation:
- Extract into your S.T.A.L.K.E.R.- Call of Chernobyl directory and overwrite. Make sure relative paths are the same (ie. database should be extracted over S.T.A.L.K.E.R.- Call of Chernobyl\database)
This cumulative patch for 1.4 does not contain optimized textures and *.thm fixes that are included in the full 1.4.12 repack. If you would like to reduce VRAM usage (reduces out of memory crashes), download the 1.4.12 repack (3GB) before applying this patch. If installing the full repack, make sure to delete the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.- Call of Chernobyl\database directory before overwriting the 1.4.12 repack on top of existing CoC installs.
Addon Compatibility With Patches:
- If you see anything in your STALKER-CoC\gamedata directory that is in the file changes, then it's like you don't have the patched version of that file. If you see that you are using modified gamedata that was changed, then avoid the patch and wait for all your addons to be updated.
- Due to the nature of mods, it's impossible to keep compatibility with every patch. The gamedata directory overwrites files stored in the .db files, even the patches. This loading order is dictated by the order in fsgame.ltx. This means it's possible addons will not break when you install patches but your game will be using old files. It's up to the addon creator to unpack the patches and release a compatible addon for the current CoC version.
- It is highly recommended that you delete gamedata and reinstall updated addons rather then overwriting. This is because old removed files could still be in your gamedata and cause conflicts with patches.
- AO3, OWR3, STCOP will most likely always be compatible and are currently the only TeamEPIC supported addons for Call of Chernobyl. Purely comestic mods (textures/meshes) should always be compatible as well.
Technical Information about Patches:
- Versioning is done like Major.Minor.Patch.
Tips:
- a new shortcut command line option has been added, pass -no_bump_mode1 to skip the loading of _bump#.dds textures for reduced VRAM usage at the cost of reduced bump map detail. Generally this is for people who have crap PCs.
Patch Notes: Coc.epicstalker.com
It is advised you wait for addons to be updated for this patch before using.
Should be save compatible with the previous patch. If there are issues with loading your save revert to an old patch or try starting a new game.
Archived patches can still be found here: Moddb.com
IMPORTANT: If you use STCOP addon delete gamedata\particles.xr or you will have a crash when using companion Move-To-Point due to missing particles. STCOP particles have been merged into vanilla CoC particles.xr
"IMPORTANT: If you use STCOP addon delete gamedata\particles.xr"
The game crashes when someone shoots from some specific gun (?), happens everytime I run to the military base in Cordon, when I am nearing the aggro range, and never seen anyone shoot at me before the crash.

Seems that it works, thanks.
I'll report again, if anything happens.
Thank you :)
Maybe it's time to finally start playing this mod.
Looks like all the major issues introduced with 1.4 have been fixed now.
So 1.4.19 is a good place to start if you've been on the fence.
Aewsome!
Could you please post either here or in the patch notes which files were changed when you update under the same version number?
xr.db for STCOP missing particle. Rather irrelevant actually since the STCOP addon is getting a separate patch with this included. Not worth a mention.
Thanks. I only ask so I don't miss something if I updated my addons with an earlier download.
DoctorX i gave a rating of "10" to all your mods. They are really great :)
DoctorX, I've tested Dynamic Factions Relations, Factions Relations and Dynamic Quests on this patch without issues.
Thanks, every update comes with nice improvements!.
I moved my petition to "suggestions forum".
I see in update notes "Added an 8 second invulnerability after a game load". Is this optional?
This may actually be needed. I was moving to a new area and that fog mutant managed to kill me right before the game fully loaded. That auto-save became cursed as every time I loaded it, the same mutant kept killing me before I could even play.
Hi Alun.. is AO 3.1 (v.5) fine with this latest patch?
Yes
Thx!
Nice work guys, looks like all the issues I had with previous versions are fixed now. Time to start a new run !
8 seconds of invulnerability after a game load really spoils the atmosphere. Delete this, please, or make it 2-3 seconds at least.
Idea: If the player want to use PKM or some Heavy Machineguns: need to wear exoskeleton. RPG-7 is may be not in the list of heavy weapons who need to wear exoskeleton to use heavy weapons.
Hello! I like this patch. There are almost no errors. I am glad! But unfortunately I found another bug. Excuse me. (I voted for the CoC on Moty)
I found the whole first aid kit. Then I used it and put it in the box. After that I moved to another location, but when I went back and looked into the box, was the whole kit. It is a bug. You can fix it in the next patch?

Menu is shifted slightly to the side. Half of the text is not visible. You can move it?

What resolution are you playing at?
It is important? I play with resolution 1280x1024. Hopefully this will help you.
yes - No one else has mentioned this so it must not be common. My first guess is that the 4:3 xml settings may not have been adjusted or the code to alter for non widescreen resolution is off.
I tested at that resolution and though the 4:3 settings do need some adjustment I'm not getting the same displacement that your image shows. I'll do some checking.
Pastebin.com
Put that into gamedata/configs/ui/pda_relations.xml and tell me if it helps.
Fixed for next patch
Thank Alundaio and Nuor! You're the good guys. TeamEPIC - Top team !!!
The zombie survival mode has a bug: The friendly NPC's that spawn with you do not attack zombified stalkers.
Пора бы уже и русскоговорящему человеку понимать ваш язык,например адаптация под русский язык. И тогда все будут счастливы,большая часть посещений темы Call of Chernobyl от нашего русского брата. Так что задумайтесь.
If someone wants to translate all of configs\text\eng to configs\text\rus from here: Bitbucket.org
And keep it up to date, I would gladly include the 'rus' folder in the main mod. All they have to do is Fork CoC repo and send pull requests for the rus folder.
Nobody on the team speaks both Russian and English equally well.
I updated my version of Call of Chernobyl from 1.4.16 to 1.4.19. I keep getting this crash every time I die and when the game tries to load a previous save.

Not sure which addon it is but you need to delete gamedata\scripts\surge_manager.script so that you game can use the newer patch version of the script.
Thanks for the reply. I did update most of my addons, except for Outfit Addon (which has just been updated today so maybe that's the cause). If installing the latest version of Outfit Addon doesn't work, I will follow your advice.
I usually recommend that when updating all addons, to delete gamedata first and then reinstall the addons. This makes sure that old files aren't left around. You aren't the only one who some how has an old surge_manager.script hanging around. I cannot find a recent addon with it, so it must be something old.
Yep, that's good advice. I also can't remember which addon had that old surge_manager.script but in any case, even though I deleted it, my saves for my current game from older versions were unstable. I kept on having too many errors and crashes so I started a fresh new save and so far, it seems a lot more stable.
I'm wondering where the patch meshes and textures go
Patches should be extracted to the main directory.
overwrite existing 'bin' and 'database' folders with the ones in the patch.
I overwrite the bin files but when I'm not sure which database file the patch textures and go i(I apologize in advance if this is very time consuming)
In main CoC directory, you overwrite bin and database directories from the patch's compressed archive. That's it, you don't need to do anything else.

You sure you weren't using that show nearby squads addon or whatever it's called?
Im surprised that all my addons and the new patch works fine in my first go. i sometimes but uncommon, end up with just a crash at startup. and now its like magic. downloads done, boom, put em in the gamedata folders, boom. done and working first go.
awesome job.
however, i dont go to truck cemetary cause it is too big. got 12 gb of ram but the game is 32 bit. with all my addons i cant handle the map. its ok though, i can just put my settings lower.
overall awesome job at updating the game and fixing bugs!
Awesome! Companions seems to work as they should now. I think i'll stay with this version for a looong time, as everything is running very smoothly.
Good job guys!! I'll never thank you enough

CoC 1.4.19 + Military faction: I have problem to find Veles detector or Svarog Detector. I'm using the yellow one and the "green" indicator only detector. But problem is that they both don't detect all artefacts in anomalies. Only some of them. I can hear artefacts moving in anomalies but those detectors don't show me the artefacts. Also I can see some siluete of artefact moving in anomalies but those two basic detectors don't show anything.
You can get a Veles detector from the ecologists at Jupiter just complete the escort/fetch tasks and eventually they'll give you one.
If you're lucky the Svarog detector sometimes will spawn in one of the 500+ unmarked stashes. You can also buy one from the ecologists* if you unlock the heavy pockets achievement and become faction friendly with them.
****The trader files in 1.4.19 have some errors and you won't be able to buy a Svarog from ecologists. You can wait for the next update or use this, just drop the gamedata folder inside the install folder and remember to remove them when the next update comes:

I started a new game. Now I'm Bandit and I've found Veles detector in one of the boxes in Dark Valley. But I got another problem. Olivius (Bandit trader) doesn't sell good outfits. I like something like Ecologists are using. But Olivius is selling just rags. I noticed he was selling exoskeleton once but I didn't have enoungh money on me. I playing "DoctorX Dynamic faction relations" mod. So I hope some faction became at least my neutral so that I can get better outfit.
