Rekindle Games is an independent start up founded in Seattle, WA, by Brittany Jackson, an industry veteran from the area, and Karl Smith a new comer to the gaming industry. Inspired by games of our youth and the potential new technology has, we set out to put /something/ together, and after many long nights of debate, we settled on our first title, Pyre. Pyre has been described as something that Dr. Frankenstein might invent, were he a game designer. Taking the tried and true hack & slash to a dark ally, sticking a knife in its back and leaving it for dead, was only the start when we envisioned Pyre. With our debut title currently in development we hope to provide the community plenty of chances to co-operate in helping shape and develop Pyre into something the indie community can get behind!

Wow, It has been a few months of silence from us, and boy has a lot changed. After just a couple posts here at ModDb we had received an amazing turn out of interest for our debut project 'Pyre'.
While the turn out was healthy, we received more interested from music Composers and Sound Designers, and not enough turn out from the people we had be on the prowl for.
Currently our small group consists of two amateur coders(JavaScript/C#/Unity) and our Art Lead and Sound Lead. In the coming weeks I hope to have some new assets to share and to show off the refreshed direction 'Pyre' has grown.
