GoldenEye: Source is a modification of Half-Life 2, with only one goal in mind; to bring the memories and experiences from the original GoldenEye64 back to life using Source Technology. We want you to look at this mod and remember the first best multiplayer first-person shooter ever made. We are doing our best to bring in the opinions of the community to create a game that everyone is going to enjoy. But, we are not here to recreate the game exactly how it was in GE64, a lot of things have changed since they first designed that game, mainly in technology and gamers experiences. We are here to take the game even further but at the same time provide a lot of those fun elements that hardcore GE64 fans will enjoy. We've got experienced team members all across the board, from professional level, to amateurs looking to make it into the business working hard to make this dream a reality.

Will there be a map making program released?
We use hammer just like every source game.
Hi I was wondering how i can create a game and invite my steam friends. because when i create a server my friends only gets "server not responding" why is that? Please help me :)
You have to allow the game through your Firewalls and setup Port Forwarding. It might be easier to use a program such as Logmein Hamachi which makes a virtual private network. If you and your friends use it, your game should appear under the LAN tab in server browser.
I already run a minecraft server through Hamachi. I want to run a GE:S server through hamachi too but I cannot find any videos or walkthroughs showing me how to do it. Any ideas?
I think you have to rent a server to do what you are trying to do.

greetings, fellow retard from the future here. the year is 2020, we have flying cars and half-life 5 has revolutionized the gaming industry. i come here to tell you that they use c++ to work on this fine project, not python. python is for devs who want to make dirty anime games with no coding experience, while c++ is for pros who remake goldeneye in the source engine. bye for now from the future!
