Geniaware is a fully independent video game developer with it's HQ in Reggio Emilia (Italy) formed in 2008, and the development studio residing in Savona on the beautiful Italian Riviera, 40minutes from Genoa airport, and within 80minutes of the ski resort Mondolè. The inspiring Ligurian coast line and the dynamic city lifestyle attracts a highly collaborative working environment between experienced industry professionals and budding new talent coming from all four corners of the globe.

Creating great games requires a combination of sharp minds and cutting-edge tech, well-proven to mitigate development risks and time to focus efforts solely on innovative gameplay.

Setting the quality bar high, Geniaware has licensed middleware solutions such as GameBryo, SpeedTree (the same technology for vegetation used in the motion picture “Avatar”), Scaleform, and Fmod, all of which are used by AAA videogame studios.

Geniaware's international development team currently works on a multi platform title for PC and next generation console. Plans are in place for further iterations of current games in development to expand the portfolio and wide ranging revenue models across console, social networks and mobile devices. Building upon the foundations of the company's first title, Geniaware's ambition is to grow notable franchises and nurture a new market of gamers.
