Just adds a little bit of variety to your starting loadouts.
Made this little loadout alternative for my own modpack.
I removed all the firearms from the starting loadouts (Except for the AK12 & VAL for Monolith) and added in lootboxes that are either guaranteed or have a mid - high chance to spawn a firearm of some kind.
makes things interesting when you have to be a one mag gamer for the start if you go for the high profile weapons off the cuff.
Modified the base anomaly starting loadout file so should be friendly with other addons.

Nice Idea for a true random loadout!
IDEA: you could make custom lootboxes for the weapons,if needed, and create new ones for outfits so the outfits are random too.
My only question is why you start with two knifes.
For your problem with the flashlight, I do not know what you mean because I do not have it in my loadout or when I get into the game. Maybe you have a mod installed which injects it into your loadout.
the two knives I gave cause the BaS Boot Knife doesn't count for skinning but is slightly better for melee fighting. so the starter knife is for skinning. if you are using Knife in Inv Skinning then the game will go off the starter knife for skinning abilities.
I did have the idea of a CoD style weapon crate that has the chance to spawn like, any of a certain type of weapon. I haven't looked at the lootbox files myself so i have no clue how to do it.
Well thats good to know that the flashlight issue is limited to my pack. just means i have to do a ground up check for my next build.
It is not complicated to modify or create new crates and its contents but it is some work to write the stuff.
EDIT: There is a integration Guide which comes with the mod, which can help.

Hobo Matches soothes my OCD in ways I didn't know it needed.
Ok, the mod is really great but for ***** sake the requirements. Ok bas and lootboxes it's understandable, but glowsticks, matches and, my god, pizza!!!??? Really!? They're seriously THAT needed for your mod to work?

The reason that I had those listed as required was so people could mimic the preview image, but your right. I worded it badly.
I tested removing everything but lootboxes and it works fine, so I've updated the description as such. Thanks for the feedback friend :)
could you make it compatible with anomaly magazines redux? the magazines do not appear along with the weapon I purchase from the boxes.
I am checking into this, i run mags as well and most of the time I tend to be a one mag mike till i get to a trader or run across a two legged lootbag with the same mag type. Spoke with a bud of mine and they have an idea how to do it, so stay tuned :)
I don't know if it helps but I have problems when I open spiner case, I get a message "Found:" but it doesn't show anything, and when I open the inventory the game closes, in the log the message is the following:

Yea the Sniper Case doesnt work for me either. I believe its partially built. idk why cause I didnt make the original lootboxes. I have never seen it drop in the game either so i think its maybe some kinda half baked item.
Also regarding the mags in the boxes this would be something we would need to take up with the original lootboxes author. the patch we thought had going was causing loads of crashes.
