Is it possible to have the companion icons disabled from a new game so I never have to see them again?
Edit : I changed it to an MCM option in the last update, so all you gotta do is turn it off

Bro, I'm going to be a **** here, I love your mod. Whenever you add code to a .ltx file, it would be good to add in commentary as to indicate where your changes are lying, so people are able to patch their own game instead of asking you to make a patch for mod anyone asks.

It's always better to compare with vanilla unpacked files with winmerge
Thanks mate, I'm doing the monkey wrench approach to Anomaly and I'm doing my own patches as to teach myself how to handle modding the game. Such a steep learning curve, yet I've learned a lot already.
I already made a lot of progress just by google + trial & error.

One issue is it seems the mcm menu has to be turned on and off every time and doesn't hold changes between game sessions.
Yeah I didn't knew this was an issue till recently. I'll fix it
