same here :) Shame I can't get it to run on Win7 (zero hour and generals, not just shockwave) am thinking of partitioning to XP just for this and Battle for Middle Earth 2 :D
And of course run as admin. Generals seems to have struggles with admin rights when trying to extract the standard options.ini. Alternatively, you can get the options.ini somewhere else and put it into ''My Documents''.
Those were the first things I tried... A couple years using Vista and I became something of an authority on getting games to work on newer systems :P Unfortunately that didn't do it for me... neither does following advice I've seen on the internet so far.
OOOH I GOT IT TO WORK! Did another search, expecting nothing new to come up, but I saw hidden in one of the pages was the suggestion that I turn down my monitor resolution as well as in the options.ini my desktop looks awful before it runs, but the game works! :D So happy
They are currently working on ROTR, and as soon as that one is finished (as in, as finished as Shockwave is right now), they might continue working on this one. There are still some bugs to take care of, but other than that ... this mod is perfect the way it is right now. ;)
I was surprised when i saw an update for shockwave :D
Me Too!

did u try changing compatibility mode cuz i can run this on Win7 computer
But, it does work on Windows 7
I only know this because I'm using Windows 7
to get it to run you have to right click on the shortcut, go to properties, compatibility tab and choose to run as win xp compatibility

I am using it on Windows 7 as well, and I don't even need to change compatibility settings or anything else.
me too
Using Windows 8.1, I did need to mess with the options.INI (it wasn't even in the game oddly).
Please, come back to work on Shockwave <3
Maybe you don't know it, but the ShockWave project is finished.
Maybe they will make a revised ShockWave for the Command & Conquer that will be released soon.
Actually, it's not finished rather than idle.

Of course ... a Mod is never finished. :P
And the new one is not going to be modifiable.
will this work with rise of the reds as well, or just shockwave
for shockwave
