Patch 1.2 for REDUX modpack beta [CoC 1.4.22]
Added sky textures, changed AI detectability and accuracy, increased sneak speed, Hardcore AI aim fixed, upgradable binoculars, A-life on all levels and other minor changes.
REDUX MODPACK 1.2 BETA PATCH [CoC 1.4.22]
Installation
- Requires REDUX modpack 1.0 beta already installed without any additional changes.
- If you already have 1.1 beta patch already installed just overwrite with new file.
- Does not require 1.1 beta patch to be already installed.
Download and extract this gamedata file into your local CoC directory, overwrite when asked.

Currently working out the bug that is causing some people to CTD when talking to the gatekeeper NPC.

Included upgradeable binocular 1.3 by Neadez, does not require a new game, however you will need to upgrade your binocular if you want NPC identification
Included A-life on all levels by NecrOINKS, can be turned on without requiring a new game; found in the gameplay tab within options.
1.1 BETA
Included S.W.T.C. sky textures for CoC 1.4.22 and 1.5b
Included SRST - Hardcore AI aim (now this feature actually works in the options)
Increased actor's crouch speed for better sneaking.
Included the achievement change for 'heavy pockets' from 1M to 150k. Missing in 1.0
Ecologist now sell basic, advance and expert tools.
Companions can actually sprint. Missing in 1.0
Tweeked the AI detectability, harder for AI to detect player now. Works well with the new hardcore AI aim.
Tweeked stalker AI, they are slightly more accurate.
Tweeked zombified stalkers to be less accurate.
1.0 BETA
Economy was slightly changed. Prices have generally increased across all traders.
Faction relation for ecologist was changed. So now they will remain neutral to all factions besides monolith and bandits throughout the entire playthrough.
This is to ensure that LtTZ-storylines would not fail if your faction declared war with the ecologist.
Heavy Pockets achievement now unlocks at 150k. This is to ensure that you will have access to all the gear without the grind.

Did you get that error when you were trying to start the game? If so go to appdata file in your CoC directory and delete user.ltx. Then boot up the game again.

You might have to reinstall if that error comes up. Have you added any addons to the modpack besides 1.0 BETA Redux?

This happens with every gas mask related item in the game when i equip it. cannot seem to find a fix for it
Try reinstalling smurth's dynamic hud again. I think that may help fix that problem.

Hi I get multiple crashes using this modpack and have tried reinstalling it to try to fix some of the crashes, though this doesn't seem to work.
One of the more recent crashes consisted of talking to the gatekeeper to find Strelok, I was actually able to keep this log which is below.
I currently do not play with any other mods than the ones included in this modpack.

unfortunately I'm still new all of this, but i think if you reinstall lost to the zone and storylines + comp patches from those two addons.

Thank you for helping me, though since I reinstalled the two mods as well as the patches now the game just crashes whenever I try to create a new character or load into a previously saved game. crash log below.

I have a feeling it could be A-life on all levels that is causing this crash. Could you try to disable A-life in the settings and see if it still crashes at gatekeeper. Because on my end, I haven't when talking to gatekeeper. Tried it on loners and cs
Hi, Im having trouble with all my scopes and binoculars from AO. They appear in the upper right corner all bugged. Any fix for this? Help
Also, did you add the rat mutant from metro?
If your binos and scope are appearing in the upper corner, make sure your graphical settings are at maximum. That should resolve your issue. Yes, the lurkers from metro was added too.

hi, its in military base when I go to talk to gatekeeper, at the last dialog with him it crashes
oh i see, unfortunately i haven't been able to work out the cause of the crash yet. But hopefully will find a solution soon, will be fixed within the beta patch

Awesome modpack. It is well calibrated and a lot of fun.
If you want to have as fewer crashes as possible, download: Bitbucket.org
and upgrade the game's engine.
I've tested it and it works like a charm. When you load 15+ mods in a 32bit engine..... it will crash like A LOT!!!

When I want to talk to gatekeeper for ,,Road to the North,,.
So far this is a lot of fun! I consistently crash when walking through Garbage for the first time though, keeping me from progressing. I am only using this modpack, and the 64bit engine linked above. Any help would be great, thank you!
