A tweak to give the loot drops from Ai's a better overall feel. This one is made to last through the whole playthrough
After playing anomaly for a good while i felt the drops were too damaged. I tried different tweaks which i got online but felt they gave me too much, I was rich 10 hours in game and i had whatever i wanted item vise.
Now, the repair system in game is a little bulky but its there to be used so i had that in mind when i tweaked these settings. The idea behind it all was to give the user a challenge but a bigger reward when taking down the highest skilled stalkers in the Zone, this was done earlier but not in the right way i felt.
Coming from a lot of RPG's or mmo's, those system work like this. You kill an elite mob/ai - Which has a drop chance to drop high level gear but OFTEN not. In most of the tweaks i found this never happend. They always drops 100% condition gear, and this was almost every single ai i killed 10 hours in. I wanted to hunt high skilled ais to get that exact rifle i needed in a good condition, i felt it was fun and challenging at the same time. Randomness is key for me. This would make the people that love to repair stuff having an advantage early game.
The conditions was hard to make, i'm no scripter so i had to use what was already there. The highest skilled stalkers you kill are probably the only ones that can actually drop a 100% Rifle or armor, BUT they can also drop a very low rated too, so there are chances you fail at the same time. The beginning of the game is challenging but it gets better later. Hope you enjoy. report back if you can so i can tweak more.

I haven't looked the files over but this sounds very interesting. I was honestly looking for a middle ground version of the other mods doing a similar thing.
I have looked over the files and you changed a lot of 1's to 0's that shouldn't be as it breaks the item name. I noticed this when merging in my personal changes
The 1ns and 0s should be original Anomaly. Can you point out the ones you noticed and i have a look, because that would indeed be game breaking. I'll fix it up and update the file asap.
so what does this do different compared to Better Weapon & Outfit Condition On Drop?
Have not tried that one yet, the ones i tried at least ended with always giving me high condition loot. If you read the description.

Looking forward to trying your work, thank you. Just an observation, it would seem to me that if you loot a target their armor should never be 100% or even close to that, there should always be some damage - you killed them with a weapon after all...
I agree, tho i tend to want some rewards when finding those high level stalkers
First play thru and not sure what's up, whether Anomaly itself or the mod. Maybe 20-30 hours in and I already have 4 exosuits: 1 military, 2 x bandit (bandit exosuits? should be pretty rare...), and a monolith exosuit that dropped with 90% condition... Just feels cheap to get all this so early, or am I missing something on what gets dropped depending on player 'level'?
Rather than have gun/armor condition % based on player level, shouldn't it be based on the enemy 'level', i.e. a nasty bandit leader has best available weapon/armor in his party and is a tough kill.

I think you made a typo with the 7.62x51mm ammo (aka nato big rounds) in the death_generic.ltx file, I wasn't finding any at all in the corpses of the enemies and I went to check the file and didn't find that there
What I DID find was a "7.62x50mm" round that I don't think exists lol
