This mod adds timelapse mechanic while sleeping. When you initiate the sleep by yourself, the camera will move outside and will display the passing day in accelerated fashion. Its done by increasing time_factor to very big values
Apart from graphical change, it also affects gameplay. The zone will fully live during the timelapse, the stalkers will go, the monsters might attack, since no time skips happen anymore, so it might lead to interesting situations or a plethora of bugs.
The time on the bottom left corner of the screen will display current time and the time when you will awake. The alarm sound will sound when you're awake.
The timelapse is disabled in the underground, when you're drop fainted by sleep/thirst deprivation or anabiotics or when the script fails to find a camera position suitable for timelapse. Keep that in mind
TROUBLESHOOTING
- If you encounter bugs during timelapse or after it, try to reduce the timelapse speed in MCM. The slower the timelapse, the less buggy it will be
CHANGELOG
0.31:
- Fixed a bug when sleep accumulation was still increasing during the timelapse
0.3:
- NPCs are now immune to emissions and psy storms during timelapse. You can change that in MCM to make them vulnerable again
- Integrated patch to Immersive Sleep mod, if the mod is installed, all the rules from that mod will apply to timelapse
- Slightly different getting camera position algorithm. The camera might give a birds-eye view on the environment if its high enough instead of pointing to the sky
0.2:
- Timelapse speed has been slightly reduced to help with bugs and low fps
- Added alife optimization option (enabled by default). When enabled and when sleeping, the alife radius will be greatly reduced (by default to 75 meters). After the sleep it will return to previous value
- Added MCM options for camera animation, timelapse speed, alife radius reducing

march 2: as an update, its actually been working mechanically just fine, however I have not been able to get the camera movement working. i go to sleep, time fast forwards, camera stays in first person looking at my bed. i wouldnt consider this a problem with the mod at all, again, i knew i was taking a leap installing it with such a heavy compatabilty risk. but its caused no crashes, and the 0.2 update works just fine too

Love MGS5 too, one of the greatest tactical stealth games ever made, despite not being properly finished (f-u Konami, go Kojima-san)
The audio is affected by time_factor so it's impossible
Purely for kicks, if you wanted to do it, I’d imagine one could experiment by taking the chosen track into audacity or similar software, and slowing it down 1000% or whatever it takes, then re-exporting, so that it would speed up to cerrect pitch in-game when time factor speeds up.
That would be a few gigs of music lol

I went to bed. I chose to sleep for 8 hours. the timer went off. chat messages appeared. BUT my camera did NOT come out.

Same..uninstalled for now. I have Dynamic Emission cover as well.

FYI< Got this all working when I updated my .EXE files (from SSS .exe files) to the latest ver. Very cool mod, thank you! I hope soon we will be able to plop a sleeping bag down anywhere and sleep under the night sky.

It works so far. The bugs which happens during time factor command, happens here too. For example the anomaly which appears on sky randomly doesnt go away if happens during time factor and same with this mod. But overall amazing start.
еще заметил вот такой баг: у было мало здоровья (примерно 5%) я не мог бегать. я принял аптечку и лег спать на 2 часа. когда таймер закончился то действие аптечки тоже закончилось, НО здоровье не прибавилось ни сколько!
это произойдет даже без мода
I have the latest custom exe's and for some reason my FPS goes from it's normal 70-80 and flies down to as low as 10 as the time-lapse progresses. Anyone else experience this?. It has a few winning file conflicts with Dynamic Emission Cover, Molotov Cocktails and Weapon Cover/Tilt. However I loaded Sleep Timelapse last so I don't think that's the issue.
Ofc it will have FPS drops silly, the game is still running and stuff gets updated as the time progresses, hence the fps drop
I figured it was rapid A-life simulation that caused it lol, was just shocked to see it get so low.
That's inevitable, maybe I can reduce it with switching alife radius to very low, but the drop will always be there
Is there a way to get rid of sounds during the transition and also maybe decrease the time it takes to complete?
Next update there will be MCM options wehre you can set it

Edit: NPCs tend to die during emissions while sleeping, I use the "NPC Die in Emissions For Real" mod so, I guess that's what causing it.
As someone who played MGS5 here, I approved. 10/10

Hi, addon was working fine but at least for me, when I sleep on merc base (dead city), game just bug s(not always, lets say from 10 times 2 or 1):
- Emissions do not end, quest to take cover still there and some npcs run to take cover and others just walk like all good and die hahaha, was funny to see
- Some mutants for some reason just spawn and stay there, you can just go and give they a kiss :3
A quick reload fix it.
what position did you choose to sleep? I don't know why, i slept in the merc base just like you but i didn't have the camera animation
I just go near the beds and use the sleep option, the animation plays but go outside building doing some weird stuff cause I am inside building.
