I was thinking of adding a saving limitation when you are hungry instead. I will add a new version with hunger if you guys would like that.

If you use the dynamic menu for factions then you'll need to merge the files gamedata/scripts/ui_main_menu.script together. Any other mods that modify the ui_main_menu.script will also need to be merged together to use this.
Nice idea but unable to save when "having low hp" is just seriously ludicrous.
I like all other situations but that one is just big NO for me...
Also I know its probably impossible right now, but It would be nice to have save system like in CoM where you can save only near fireplace(being near it, not by fire it up) or only in covered buildings.
In order to remove the low hp feature, open up both ui_main_menu.script and level_input.script that came with this mod and remove the following "if" condition along with everything inside it:
if (db.actor.health < 0.75) then
...
(remove all code from here as well)
...
end
I think the low hp part is the most fun and interesting one. Imagine being badly wounded after a long and tense battle with a couple of bandits. You are out of healing supplies and you really need some in order to save your game.
The closest trader is miles away so that's not a good option, too risky. What about the closest neutral/friendly camp? One of them might have a medkit they want to trade with something else.
Suddenly, a stalker reports that a big bad bloodsucker is lurking in your area. You begin to panic a little, holding your weapon tight and looking around frightened. You realise that you are left with 2 options: either stay hidden and die from your wounds along with the bandit's corpses, or take your chances by trying to reach the closest stalker camp.
Sneaking out of there is almost impossible. Your blood coming out of your flesh wounds are bound to attract the hungry bloodsucker. Good hunting, stalker. :)

As for feature it self, its just my personal preferences. I play in really heavy modified game in terms of gameplay, with 1:1 ratio damages for player and NPC(so there is no sponge effect), Way less ammo and medkids that are really pricey, modified eye fov and hear for NPC and more mutants and anomalies. So overall its hard for me anyway -_-
That addon would fit perfectly to my game but not without low HP, because for most of time i have low HP :]
Oh, I see. I thought you were playing vanilla CoC, which is way too easy.
I am playing a lightly modded game by myself, which increases prices, lowers the chance of items and ammo from corpses and crates, better chance for the actor to get hit and so on...
Gotta love how CoC is so moddable.
