This mod replaces the vanilla FAMAS in Stalker Anomaly with the FAMAS F1, but also introduces the G2, the Commando and the Felin.
In this one of LUN4T1Cs extravagant weapons deliveries we aim to replace the base game FAMAS with a new fresh model (actually two models) with new fresh animations.
Special credits go to Teivaz for porting the Gunslinger animation to the COP/Anomaly rig. Gigachad energy levels!!
Also huge thanks to the LEWD crew for working on its icons, ltx and other config files.
The mod now has:
- FAMAS F1 and FAMAS F1 tactical with a grip and LAM.
- FAMAS G2 and FAMAS G21 tactical with a grip and LAM.
- FAMAS Commando with a LAM.
- FAMAS Felin and FAMAS Felin tactical both with LAM.

The FAMAS (Fusil d'Assaut de la Manufacture d'Armes de Saint-Étienne, "Assault Rifle from the Saint-Étienne Weapon Factory") is a bullpup assault rifle designed and manufactured in France by MAS in 1978. It is known by French troops as Le Clairon (The Bugle) due to its distinctive shape. The FAMAS is recognised for its high rate of fire at 1,100 rounds per minute. Beginning in 2017, the FAMAS was replaced in most frontline units in the French Army by the HK416F, but it is expected to remain in limited service until 2028.

The mod comes preconfigured for:
- MagRedux
- WPO
Additionally, you can select the 3D scopes patch during install, if you prefer to play with 3D scopes than the default 2D scopes. The 3D scopes will take some FPS. In my case, around 20%, YMMV.
Also, in case you don't use BaS, but want to make use of the LAM, consider installing the "no-bas" patch

The only two things you need to play with the FAMAS is the latest modded exes for Anomaly 1.52 (I did not test and I can't provide support for any other scenario).
The mod is a replacement of a vanilla gun and so, should be fully compatible with any other mod, modpack (EFP, GAMMA, BOSS, etc), provided it is loaded after mods that tweak vanilla weapons.
- Make sure to use MO2 (why wouldn't you?) and install the famas directly from the zipped file.
- Make sure to load this mod AFTER any other vanilla altering mods (like EFT repositioning or so), since this replaces the base game weapon.

You can make it drop. Just need to add it to npc/spwan tables. Would that be something you guys want? I can add it to UNISG, Mercs, Freedom and Monolith for example

not sure if it's planned later but would it be possible to add an alt aim? idk if vanilla allows it but some mods do and the new model simply gives me this (with alt aim).

to clarify I mean alt aim as in using the iron sight with a scope attached. not sure if it's a mod but my vanilla famas has this ability with any sight/scope attached
oh yes that problem occurs with most weapons that have that alternative mode (iron sight + scope) the Famas F1 is one of those weapons that in vanilla anomaly can be switched between aiming modes, it causes problems and weird bugs with some reanimations addons

MagsRedux funktioniert aber leider nicht, also nehme ich mal an, dass das Addon beim Original wohl auch nicht funktioniert hat nachdem, was du sagst. Bisschen schade, weil ich das Addon dann erstmal nicht nutzen werde aber ich bin gespannt auf die Alternativmodelle, die du derzeit baust. Vllt kannst du das jetzige Modell ja auch für MagsRedux kompatibel machen. :)

I understand the amount of work it takes, and am currently trying not to lose my mind retexturing an 'april fools' release of a really nice ACR(Chef Fieri's WMD, by JMerc75). The early 2000's flame decals are kind of distracting. lol
Yes, the "Felin tactical" will be kind of a carbine variant as you describe it.
I also have an ACR coming, so depending on your level of patience, you'll get one in FDE and black...

Especially if they come with different chamberings. 5.56 is most known but the early 6.8SPC version is... nasty ballistics wise.
If i knew how, id port the 6.8SPC ammo & its few weapons over from AO Clear Sky.
Together with FilU1916 from the LEWD crew we are working on a huge ammo mod, adding over 50 new ammo types in over 300 variations. We will then provide dltx patches for all known weapons (respecting our sanity ofc)
Damn, im actually hyped to hear that. Most of the unique rounds go unused & end up 'converted' to other calibers, so it'll be nice to see more variety. Especially Rifle JHP ammo, was always kind of confused on that one missing.

Very good! One small nitpick I wish it has its bipod on, I just like my famas f1 with its undeployed bipod on its side.
And I guess since its not in the description and video, it doesnt have alternative sights switching from iron sight to scope?
Not yet my friend. Not yet. An update is coming with a variation of F1, Felin and G2 with their bipods on.
