Sorry I don't know how to MO2 coz I don't use it hehe. But it's a simple mod with just script inside, it's not that hard to copy-paste or drag and drop.

Hi, I was wondering if I could be able to modify said script to act on luminosity. I'm currently working on a reshade and while it's consistent almost everywhere, one of the flaw I can think of it the lack of adaptation for indoors.

If the weather is plain sunny, interiors are brighter than during cloudy or rainy weathers, and while this is a normal occurence, it could use an automated tweak to make it more realistic. Is such a thing possible, maybe based on gamma level, brightness or exposure ?

I'm already using Dynamic Tonemap as well, and Adaptive Tonemapping via Reshade effect

the indoor adaptation can be doable and a nice idea but it's not within my scope of expertise yet, sorry.

does this apply while messing with debug weather mode?

doesn't seem to apply anything to my game

It doesn't work with debug weather mode because of the first weather system, in order to make the saturation consistent when a weather shift happen inside a map. The only workaround I know of to work with the debug mode is to open the script and find the "function actor_on_first_update()" in line 61, and then add "--" at the beginning of lines 62-66

Will there be russian localization? If not, can you tell me the file where i can rewrite the text?

Reply Good karma Bad karma+1 vote
Handsome_ooyeah Author
Handsome_ooyeah - - 119 comments

This mod doesn't need russian localization coz it doesn't include any .xml files. If you're pertaining to the text that is being displayed in the preview pictures that describes the weather, it's the mod called Arsi's Radiation Overhaul.

If you want to configure the script, just open the folder and edit the script inside gamedata/scripts. It's just one script.

Is it possible to edit the way health affects saturation?
there is one line that disables the health base but after removing the "--" the game crashes.

hmmmm... if you remove the "--" on that line, you need to add another "--" to the statement below that line.
Please reply asap after doing the solution.
EDIT: oh i see on why it crash... coz it's a semicolon (";") I put in that line not colon (":") anyways gotta upload a fix soon

Is it possible to get have a toggle for the weather prompts when you open the PDA + the random world ones?

I personally find them too frequent and immersion breaking but the rest of the mod seems great.

When you hit Tab for the PDA it gives you a message telling you what the weather is like.

It's the same message in your screenshots above. "The weather is pretty clear. You feel weak wind. It blows from the direction of the south'

I uninstalled the game and reinstalled and its gone, so its tied to something in this script.

It's from the arsi_radiation.script, it's not in this addon

Sometimes I notice that the game is too saturated during the night, as it takes the "bright weather" value.
Can you please add a modifier value for the night on each weather? Having a brightness and gamma editor would be great also :D

hmmm yeah the night saturation would also be nice, I'll see what i can do to that. When it comes to gamma and brightness, dude that's already in the settings.

I think your addon is very useful if you have a Reshade configuration, like into Gamma Modpack, but without Reshade (i do not like Reshade sorry...) less i think.
