Add addonReportHealth and Weather Based Saturation (UPDATE 4)
This effects gfx has been archived by the uploader because it is out of date and no longer supported. We recommend you browse the file list for the latest effects gfx.
Tired of readjusting your saturation settings everytime just to fit the weather atmosphere? Can't use shader mods coz of potato PC? Then you're in luck, I present to you my humble simple mod that will adjust the game saturation depending on the amount of health and the type of weather you have.
This mod automatically readjust the game saturation (r__saturation) in the Settings depending on the weather and the character health. The Saturation setting will be locked while this mod is installed.
Fixed crashing when entering an underground level in Individual Weather Control Version. It's due to the missing mcm option id.
UPDATE 3
Added an Individual Weather Control Version. Why? Because the original one is designed for Michikos Weather Revamp Revised. The options can be accessed in the MCM Menu.

UPDATE 2
MCM Support YAY!!!. Thanks Harald_ino, if it wasn't for you the MCM support might not happen at all. Sadly no Russian Localization yet, contact me if you can do that.
EDIT: Please disregard the Indoor Saturation option, coz it's not working for now.
UPDATE 1
Added a HEALTH_BASED and DEBUG_MODE option in the script. Sorry has no MCM support :(.
Sorry I don't know how to MO2 coz I don't use it hehe. But it's a simple mod with just script inside, it's not that hard to copy-paste or drag and drop.
I'm playing on linux so im having a compatibility issue with MO2. Tho I already tried it and the software worked but Anomaly doesn't start when I click play
Hi, I was wondering if I could be able to modify said script to act on luminosity. I'm currently working on a reshade and while it's consistent almost everywhere, one of the flaw I can think of it the lack of adaptation for indoors.
If the weather is plain sunny, interiors are brighter than during cloudy or rainy weathers, and while this is a normal occurence, it could use an automated tweak to make it more realistic. Is such a thing possible, maybe based on gamma level, brightness or exposure ?
I'm already using Dynamic Tonemap as well, and Adaptive Tonemapping via Reshade effect
It doesn't work with debug weather mode because of the first weather system, in order to make the saturation consistent when a weather shift happen inside a map. The only workaround I know of to work with the debug mode is to open the script and find the "function actor_on_first_update()" in line 61, and then add "--" at the beginning of lines 62-66
This mod doesn't need russian localization coz it doesn't include any .xml files. If you're pertaining to the text that is being displayed in the preview pictures that describes the weather, it's the mod called Arsi's Radiation Overhaul.
If you want to configure the script, just open the folder and edit the script inside gamedata/scripts. It's just one script.
Is it possible to edit the way health affects saturation?
there is one line that disables the health base but after removing the "--" the game crashes.
hmmmm... if you remove the "--" on that line, you need to add another "--" to the statement below that line.
Please reply asap after doing the solution.
EDIT: oh i see on why it crash... coz it's a semicolon (";") I put in that line not colon (":") anyways gotta upload a fix soon
Sometimes I notice that the game is too saturated during the night, as it takes the "bright weather" value.
Can you please add a modifier value for the night on each weather? Having a brightness and gamma editor would be great also :D
hmmm yeah the night saturation would also be nice, I'll see what i can do to that. When it comes to gamma and brightness, dude that's already in the settings.
I think your addon is very useful if you have a Reshade configuration, like into Gamma Modpack, but without Reshade (i do not like Reshade sorry...) less i think.
How i can install i use mo2

Dude, MO2 is great for modding. it's pretty ez to use and is very useful.

Wait...STALKER plays on Linux?? 8O
yep, i play it through lutris
press "Ctrl + M", select the .rar provided by this mod. Choose name and ok.

the indoor adaptation can be doable and a nice idea but it's not within my scope of expertise yet, sorry.
Good to know it's doable at least, thank you for your answer and no worries you did a great job here already ^^
does this apply while messing with debug weather mode?
doesn't seem to apply anything to my game

thanks, Will try this
Don't forget to save the file to apply the changes
compatible with dx8?
yes
Will there be russian localization? If not, can you tell me the file where i can rewrite the text?

Thank you, I just changed it with the colon and now it's working as I want.
Te tengo en la mira...
Is it possible to get have a toggle for the weather prompts when you open the PDA + the random world ones?
I personally find them too frequent and immersion breaking but the rest of the mod seems great.
what weather prompt?
Also is there no way to remove this??
Ive deleted the mod folder but its still giving me the weather prompts ingame when opening PDA
what weather prompt?
When you hit Tab for the PDA it gives you a message telling you what the weather is like.
It's the same message in your screenshots above. "The weather is pretty clear. You feel weak wind. It blows from the direction of the south'
I uninstalled the game and reinstalled and its gone, so its tied to something in this script.
It's from the arsi_radiation.script, it's not in this addon
