Addon implements new enhanced music script to provide dynamic music playback during fighting or idle with more immersive sub states + adds new unique music tracks.
"Dynamic music" option must be disable because otherwise will cause problem with volume.
Addon implements custom music playback which depends of music volume option, while "Dynamic music" option set music volume value to zero.
To install the addon:
1. Download this addon.
2. Extract the mod folder into your game directory. In case of destination has the same files - replace them.
To uninstall the addon:
1. Remove the files added by the addon.

To minimum patch you need:
1. Rename custom tracks according to template:
State name:
Track number, after underscore character. Example track name: "idle_1.ogg"
2. Move all tracks in new location "gamedata\sounds\music_overhaul\" with replace.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find such a way.
Can I use it with mods that are adding new tracks?
By default, other addons that add custom music will not work, only if you manually patch. I wrote a small instruction in the description if you want to do this.

Currently only manual installation. But I think I will add support mo2 in the future.
right then i will try when you add this feature, i don't like to add things manually on root folder, nice mod!

I really like the music and the implementation of it, my only thing is that I still hear the background vanilla ambient music. Is this intentional or am I doing something wrong? I dropped it into the gamedata folder as instructed but was not prompted to overwrite any files.
Well yes, I have the same problem, but I'm also using ambient pack.

You can fix this, without download new version if you manually move file "game_levels_music.ltx" from "gamedata\config\" to "gamedata\configs\"

Hi man! I totally love this. The combat music is totally sick but I noticed that my PDA sounds no longer works. When you get notifications from the PDA, There's no PDA sounds with this mod enabled. I installed a PDA new sounds mod by the way. Is there any way you can kindly fix this? Other than that, This is totally nice! Thanks a lot brother!

Like seriously, fighting monolith with these would be hype as f*ck.
For some reason, some of my mods don't seem to work like firemode, ammocheck and nitpicker after this mod was installed into MO2, this occurs when I load into a recent save file, if I press on the firemode check mod, it will freeze me in place. This mod is great but this issue is a deal breaker for me.
I hope you can fix whatever issue is occur-ing in the mod.

Music isn't playing for me for some reason, not sure if it's an issue with another mod or not, tried MO2, and manual install.
Perhaps it's radios extended breaking the mod?
Music mutes itself when entering combat and at random points, i need to change the dynamic music volume manually in the console to bring it back, any ideas?
Hmm, maybe here's any way to add support with Ambient pack, but also not to change to the music *after_combat* when you killed all enemies? I wish to listen calm ambient music, yet I know only how to rename files and a bit shamanize in script file.

This is an amazing mod! I remember using some dynamic music mods before but they would often crash for some reason.
If there's one suggestion that I could ask for, it'd be if it was possible to have separate idle tracks for day and night. Honestly, as it is is great though. Thanks for making it!

Also, would it be possible to detect if a player is near an anomaly or even specific types of anomalies and play ambient tracks based on that parameter as well? I think that could make for some very cool atmosphere.
