You can install this compass with a custom texture or without texture. The texture included is from the S T A L K E R 2 HUD mod by Mike0422 Moddb.com

Looks very interesting, buch nicer that the one bundled with gamma and less overpowered than a minimap
Thanks. I tend not to use the minimap, I prefer to opend the pda to check my whereabouts it's more immersive. I made this mostly for fun or as a joke but at the end of the day it turned out very handy when you are in bases and need to return quests. Also it synergizes with the P.A.W. mod very well. Now you set a waypoint with that and you can follow the arrow if you want.
can you tweak the compass texture a little? so that E W and S are upright, maybe a green colored N because it would go nice with GAMMA
this was done, apart from the N color wich I left it as it is. I wanted to keep the subtle design, the green N would stand out too much in my opinion
heya! cam across this mod and gotta say, nice job! problem though: the texture is not properly aligned with the compass itself. would you mind if i tinkered with it a bit and shared my findings? also would it be a problem if i implemented it into my mod in the future? (Rave800's Compass Overlay)
thank you. what do you mean the texture is not aligned with the compass? If you mean the transparent level texture and markers that are a bit off center compared to the compass texture it's done purposively. This way the level map is centered around the border of the screen so you can see coming near a task marker but the compass is a bit below so it does not take too much screen estate. Feel free to implement it in your compass, at the end of the day I just edited an xml file :-D
You can always share what you mean with a screenshot
ah i see, the off-centered compass was done purposefully. Nevermind that then, i was able to edit the .xml to my liking.
while tinkering with your compass mod i saw just exactly what line of code you edited to make the minimap transparent. I gotta say i would have never thought of it myself as it's such a simple edit. The mod i had made only shrank down the minimap so that the compass texture would remain, but people were asking if it was possible to make an objective marker for it. problem was i didn't know how to do that without the minimap showing up, but after seeing your edit it inspired me to dig deeper. now i've got more or less a working compass with a custom objective marker and that's mostly thanks to you!
so yeah i will absolutely credit you when i upload this new mod!
If you decide to make your own version, I will appreciate if you credit me and this mod. I'll do the same here
ask efp discord how to remove the bar of noise. maybe it's just a mod you can disable
hey man, awesome work there, I only have 1 question:
how can I remove the off center alignment?
Thank you in advance :D
Excuse me man , but i have a huge mistake , i think i installed something wrong , how to have the Compass like urs on the video ? i really want the same result , but after installing all mods i get this mistake

I fixed , the problem was in the wrong mods installed , they had a little conflict but its solved now
it's so hard to me to understand how to install this, first says something about 'standalone' and then something like I need to install others mods... could be possible to clarify the description?? (pleeease :D) I feel it can be better ;)
The instructions are detailed, exaustive and to the point. What is that you don't understand or think it's missing? However, you are right about the standalone thing.
It's says standalone because originally this mod was only part of Dynahud Hud Manager Moddb.com before I decided to make it standalone and publish it here.
Having said that, standalone also is intended as being a mod which not does requires external dependencies which is not in some cases.
I might remove standalone to avoid this confusion.
in the part of 'easy install' I see "Fomod installer", what do you mean by that??
FOMOD is a format of mod packaging that creates installers with options to choose from.
Tell me how can I install the compass mod for anomaly 1.5.2 redux 4.2? I added it to the mod manager, but I don’t see it in the game
put it last in the modlist see if it works. I don't have the Redux 4.2 modlist
Is there the option to make the noise & visibility useable? Like with the regular HUD. Maybe as some bars that follow the compass outlines left and right or something
