Tactical Rifle from Doom (2005) Movie AKA Hero Rifle
The movie's Hero Rifle is based on the Heckler & Koch G36 (modified) and is shown to have 65 round ammo capacity.

4 versions:
1. Replaces rifle in Brutal Doom
2. New weapon: Spawns a little more than half the time instead of the Shotgun
3. New weapon: 42 bullets in magazine
4. New weapon: Realistic magazine reload (unshot ammo is lost)
Added a DoomMovieRifleSound for the firing sound from the movie (add it after the rifle pk3 if you want).

I have edited to code to include more sprites and dry reload action for chambering a round.
Summon it via console "HeroRifle", it shares ammo with the rifle.
UPDATE: Added sprites for the dropped magazine when reloading, fixed size of sprites, reloading looks like it does in the movie. I changes the sprites to look more like the movie when you alt fire aim down the scope. Removed realistic magazine reload functionality (from my previous version).

For whatever reason, the reload animation seems slower than it should. Is there any way to fix this, or are there just too many frames for it?
I figured out how to fix the slow reload and how to use the replacer with ZDoom. So, what you want to do is, rename the HeroRifle file under SPRITES in the DoomMovieRifle.pk3 file to just 'rifle'. Then, have that file replace the rifle file already in Brutal Doom v21. Then what you do is go to the HeroRifle.txt file in the main DoomMovieRifle file, rename it Rifle.txt, and in the header where it says ACTOR HeroRifle : Brutalweapon, delete the word, Hero, so it reads ACTOR Rifle : Brutalweapon. That way you have the proper reload animations and it will replace the assault rifle with ZDoom.
And if you want to replace the sound of the rifle, rename the .ogg file to DSRIFLE.ogg and place it in Sounds/Combat/Weapons in the BrutalDoomV21 file

When I modify the files so I can replace the AR in GZDoom, if using the mod Ultimate Doom Visor, it says that there's a "divide by zero in script 24008". If you could figure out what that is and let me know, that'd be great. I can do the fix myself, I just need to know where that is.

i really like the gun but i want you fix the replace of brutal doom because i have another mod dox revolver and use the same way of your alternative version of get that gun replace the shotgun for your weapon
