Adds a small number of "simple" weapons mostly from TAZ 2.0. I've simply ported most models and animations from TAZ 2.0 so expect weapon quality to be around the level of vanilla weapons. Most of the guns added are intended to fill some unused gameplay niches not present with vanilla guns, or to provide some interesting alternatives. Many of these guns are somewhat targeted towards early/mid game
All sounds/textures/animations/icons for new guns are taken from TAZ 2.0. Some weapon stats have been modified to be closer to Anomaly standards. Weapon descriptions are either cut down from TAZ 2.0 descriptions, or taken from Wikipedia. Russian descriptions are either taken from Russian Wikipedia pages, or translated from the English description using DeepL.
Weapons have also been added to NPC loadouts and traders. Read the Notes.txt file included for more details.
I made this pack because I was interested in these weapons and wanted some guns that filled a few specific roles (high capacity .45 acp, high capacity 7.62 Tokarev pistol, a lever gun, etc.), I don't expect this to be to everyone's tastes. I might port over a few of the more "excessive" weapons from TAZ 2.0 or 3.0 in a separate pack in the future, but no promises. I am not porting all of TAZ 2.0/TAZ 3.0 because I don't see the appeal of adding another dozen AKs, AR-15s, pump action shotguns, and so on with barely any gameplay distinctions.
Installation:
Install like other addons, using your mod manager of choice (preferably MO2), or manually by dragging the gamedata folder included, into your main Anomaly folder (not recommended). Make sure to install DLTX or this will not work.
(this shares a couple gsh18 texture file names with Boomsticks and Sharpsticks, feel free to let BaS overwrite these, I didn't notice any difference)
If you want to use the Scoped Ruger workaround, check out the readme in its folder. It's optional since it is a bit crude, and as the issue it solves is fairly minor.

AVT-40:
Converted the SVT-40 (modern) to an AVT-40 with increased rpm and fully automatic fire. It is about as controllable as you'd expect for a full powered rifle round in full auto. Everything is the same as the SVT-40 (modern), besides stats, description and the trigger part.
Serbu Super Shorty:
A tiny shotgun with 3 round capacity and terrible accuracy. It is intended to be a cheap competitor to a sawn off TOZ that gains 1 extra capacity in exchange for accuracy and rate of fire.
Winchester M1894:
A lever action rifle chambered in .357 magnum. Uses an internal 11 round tube mag. (now you can roleplay as an old west cowboy for whatever reason)
Zastava M92
7.62x39mm short barreled rifle. Competitor to the AKS-74U with better damage and accuracy, but more weight, inability to mount scopes, and slower fire rate. Compared to other 7.62 rifles it retains most of the damage and accuracy, with decreased weight. Can use the PBS-4 suppressor. (Lowered animation is currently broken) (added lowered position with Dec 13 update)
DP-28:
Lower cost 47 round LMG using the same ammo as the PKM/PKP.
Molot Vepr 7.62/5.45
Civilian RPK derived hunting rifles with 10 round capacities. The 5.45 variant was originally also in 7.62 but the caliber was changed to provide more variety.
Thompson M1A1/M1928 submachine guns
.45 ACP submachine guns. M1A1 variant has a 30 round magazine, M1928 variant has a 50 round drum.
Mauser C96/M712/ Type 80
The C96 and M712 are 9x19 pistols, the C96 is fed by 10 round stripper clips and can be upgraded to full auto. The M712 is a stocked 20 round full auto pistol. The Type 80 is a duplicate M712 rechambered to 7.62 tokarev with a slower fire rate. All 3 can be put into the pistol slot but the icons of the M712 and type 80 don't fit.
Duplet
An improvised double barrel shotgun. Due to its rough construction, by default it tends to shoot both barrels at once. You can still fire off one at a time if you're careful with it.
Ruger Redhawk
2 variants, both with a 6 round capacity. The Ruger Redhawk .45 ACP/.45 Colt is a revolver that fires .45 ACP and serves as a competitor to the 1911, with less capacity and accuracy but higher rate of fire. The Ruger Redhawk .357 is equipped with a low power scope, firing .357 magnum.
Smith and Wesson SW500 (modified)
5 shot revolver that has been rechambered to fire 12.7x55 (the same round as the ASh-12 and VSSK). (As a similarly .50 cal revolver, it takes after the RSh-12 revolver, and gives more versatility to an underused cartridge)
M1 Garand Navy
A post WWII Garand, used by the US Navy and rechambered to 7.62 NATO. Provides an early game option for 7.62 NATO.
M14 DMR
A 20 round semi-auto 7.62 NATO designated marksman rifle. Compared to the SR-25 and G3SG1 it has no full auto and slower rate of fire, however it is also less expensive and slightly more accurate. Its damage is somewhere between that of the SR-25 and G3SG1. (Uses standard 7.62 NATO mags, for Mags Redux Users)
M3 Grease Gun
A lower cost alternative to the M1A1 Thompson. It has a lower rate of fire and thus is more controllable.
PPSh-41 (stick)
A PPSh-41 using a 35 round stick mag. It is cheaper and lighter than the regular PPsh-41 and has had its rate of fire increased to 1000 rpm.
M1/M1A1 Carbine
2 Variants, due to the rarity of .30 carbine in the zone (and since I don't want to add a one-off caliber), the M1 variant is chambered in .357 magnum and uses Desert Eagle mags, while the M1A1 variant is chambered in 5.7x28 (serving as a low cost alternative to the FN P90). These are a bit cursed, but should offer something different. Both start out in semi-auto but can be upgraded to full.
Sawn-off Mosin-Nagant/SKS/SVT-40/AVT-40
These rifles have had their barrels cut down, allowing them to act as pistols, be used one-handed and be put in the pistol slot. The shortened barrels result in lower damage, accuracy and controllability, as well as an inability to mount scopes. These are, however, still full power rifle rounds. Models and textures are taken from the KBT weapon pack.
Borz
Improvised 25 round 9x18 smg. Has very high rate of fire and low cost but low durability, accuracy and reliability.
Winchester Model 70 7.92
Low cost 7.92x57 Sniper. Has an internal 5 round magazine that is reloaded one round at a time (similar to the K98K).
Springfield M1903A1
Early game 7.62x51 NATO sniper. Reloaded similar to the K98K. Scope is fixed zoom, but can be upgraded to be variable.
OTs-12 Tiss
From Legend Returns. Early game 9x39 carbine with a 25 round capacity. Cannot mount attachments, but is fairly cheap and not too difficult to get from Duty. Due to coming from Legend returns, it has a somewhat different visual style emulating the original games, but I do not mind it.
Sten Mark II(s) / Mark V / Mark II 7.62x25
3 variants. The Mark II (S) is an integrally suppressed 9x19 smg, the silencer causes it to have increased durability increase on full auto, so its default fire mode is semi auto (you can still just set it to full auto). The Mark V is the most refined form of Sten, and serves as a cheaper alternative to the MP5, that can be optionally selected as part of a starting loadout. The Mark II 7.62x25 is a Sten rechambered to 7.62 Tokarev, with the round slightly increasing accuracy and rate of fire. Not as fast firing as a PPSh but more controllable. All three have a lower maximum recoil point than other SMGs, making them more controllable in longer bursts.

Note: the Scoped Ruger has a weird visual result when aiming with a detector in the hand. There is an optional crude way of ameliorating it included, but it’s unnecessary if you can bear to put your detector away before aiming.

I didn’t feel like there was a need for a low tier 9x19 smg when the mp5 is already easy to get, and can mount scopes. With the Thompsons, there’s only the umps and the mp5 fraiser that use .45 acp, and the Thompsons offer something different with higher capacities and not needing to visit nimble.
Thompsons never used anywhere in Great Patriotic War except North Fleet. And there is no logic reason to carry them in Zone.

No reason to carry them in the Zone? Cheaper UMP-45. Heavier, cant mount optics but can have a larger magazine.
Why is it in the Zone when it wasn't really in Soviet inventory? Well the same reason the LR-300, SIG 550 and MP5 are. Imported into the Zone via the Black Market, because any warzone, even anomalous ones, are a great place to offload guns.
And how often did you saw thompsons on black markets and local wars? Except that Perkovich screeching clips.

In black markets? The 1920's. Tommy guns made their way all the way over to Japan and saw use in Asian criminal organizations. Im sure plenty of military models stayed in Asia during the occupation of Japan, the fighting in Korea and even in Vietnam id imagine.
I mean is this really a hill worth dying on when there are WA2000's in the game? They only made some 157 of them or so if I recall, with only 15 being in the United States. The L85 is actually an astoundingly common weapon considering the only place other than the UK that they are used by any armed forces is Jamaica. Trust me, I used to love that gun, I checked on where you could possibly get a semi one for ownership here in the US.
Even Russian weapons are extended to an absurd degree in Anomaly. GSH-18's are not a full production weapon, even for Russian armed forces. Yet you find them on Ukrainian troops almost as often as you find the Fort handguns, an actually common domestically made handgun built for the Military and Police forces of Ukraine.
The Makarov PMM is in the game despite never really leaving the prototype phases due to it requiring an almost total reconstruction of all PM's in Russian inventory. Making it more useful to just make a new, more modern handgun.
Long story short, if it bugs you that much just sum it up to Nimble has smuggled in some per a Stalkers request, that guy died, now theres a few in circulation. GSC literally gave us a direct excuse to add almost anything you want given that is Nimble's entire job. To smuggle in custom guns and outfits for people. Just so happens those we get in Call of Pripyat are usually just fancy things he found in the Zone and stashed away to resell.
Relax dont download the mod if you dont want a thompson very simple

Is there an estimated time which you might provide anomaly magazine support? This mod looks awesome but anomaly magazines seems like an essential mod for many people now and they might be turned off by the fact that there is no compatibility yet

Always nice to see guns ported from TAZ. I tried it a few times but I absolutely loathe the mod overall. Instead of just focusing on adding new weapons and animations so it has the maximum flexibility it tried to be a total overhaul mod. I finally quit using it when I found that bad and old ammo just dont have icons, and that most of the ammo icons are inconsistently sized. 9mm has a giant box that is 2x1 yet 45 ACP, a larger bullet, uses a 1x1 icon. Kind of a pain.

When i read Zastava i instantly thought about Zastava M91 and M76 serbian precision rifles, been a while since i saw that gun in any game. But i couldn't remember the designation and then realized it's the 7.62x39mm carbine.
Yeah those are cool, like an SVD but actually an AK. I've actually seen those in games as well. Thanks for the addon, I'm going to try it when I can!

All AKs in general. It would just require modeling an adapter rail and the new optic of every, single AK.
Not sure why people complain about having so many AK's honestly. They get an absurd amount of options and im lucky that they bothered to add a G3 instead of forgetting it exists because of the MP5. God help me if I ever asked for an HK21E.

Please: add M1 Garand and/or M14 (both for 7.62x51 mm NATO) - added to M1A1 Thompson/M1928 Thompson it would be a perfect WW2/Early Vietnam US set: M1 Garand, Thompson, M14, Colt M1911... (M1A1 Carbine is Absolutely OPTIONAL - since 7.62x33 mm rounds are RARE (especially after Vietnam's war) - M1 Garand is, nowadays are custom remade to use 7.62x51 mm (standart NATO rounds) instead of origional 7.62x53 mm rounds)...
What can I say - i LOVE M1 Garand (especially after it's influence on WW2: NO other self-loaded rifle system (SVT-40, G-41, G-43) made such a change of a firepower on a battlefiled)

Edit: i think that Zastava should have the possibility to use some optics, otherwise will become obsolete in early game and, given the calibre (expensive at the beginning of the game) it's not a good starting weapons, like smgs, aks and shotties
