With permission from SiberCat, standalone edit of AR Pack to make it compatible with BaS and other mods
In case you don't know, AR pack is a mini weapon pack by SiberCat (Moddb.com) which adds new models and animations for AR family rifles (M16A1, M4).
It's a standalone edit, no need to enable both original and this one mods simultaneously or you will crash.
DLTX is required for this work.
Differences compared to original mod
- Weapon files were DLTXified
- Tacticool DDMV AR is now have separate section and do not overwrite old M16A2
- All rifles were given parts and added to NPCs and Traders (can be found at Freedom, Merc and UNISG)
- Compatibility with Shader Scopes mod (Moddb.com) for M16A1 Colt 3x scope

Unfortunately you will see two red dots while aiming due to the way the laser sight done in original model. See Update 2

Crashed as soon as I added it to my mod list just below BaS, I forgot to check if this was compatible with Cinematic VFX or maybe to do something with Groks Ballistics Overhaul, if I had to assume anyways sort of just grabbing as the obvious answers, here's the fatal error log :

Is the base AR pack mod required for this mod? I have DLTX and BaS obviously, not sure exactly what I'm missing here as I'm not savvy with modding I just use mods, Cheers for your time in making this.
Do you have rowans load out installed?
I do yes, I assume it should be loaded after rowans loadouts? or perhaps just incompatible?

Multiple reasons. First this is a DLTX mod which means if you did not install DLTX first this can not work at all. Second That hot mess of a modpack provak made is poorly designed and done in a way that makes adding anything a guaranteed way to crash an already unstable pack.
Just install the regular anomaly and use it. Provak has a bunch of random **** compiled together.
Ku, I'm running Procuck anal pack + NZK 3.1 + EFP 2.5UWU2 RC3 + Expedition backpack + Onegriot's Muh Immersion Pack + H.E.I.N.Z. + The Nitpicking Nitpicker's Modpack, a Modpack of Nitpicks by The Modpacking Nitpicker with Grok's automodpack installer and all exes merged together + Desolation sources. Do you know if this would be compatible?

Update: Found a position that looks pretty good. You can go into mod_system_ar_pack.ltx and update this line under [wpn_ddmv_hud]:
aim_hud_offset_alt_pos_16x9 = -0.075, -0.061, -0.08
Hopefully this'll work. Lemme know if it needs further adjustment.
is anyone else having the guns strangely too close to the screen and when lowering the guns its far off to the right?

Hi, sorry for not having replied much sooner but the recent update fixed the hud_fov and the weapons are no longer too close to the face although the weapon being far off to the right is still an issue Imgur.com

You have some mod that edits old m4 and removes tge barska sight for it, hence the error

I've disabled just about all of my mods except the ones hard installed into my game such as DLTX and Anomaly Mod Configuration Menu. The M16A1 with its scope still has the same issue. I'm starting to think it could be either my installation of anomaly or my graphical settings.
Maybe you have too big of resolution, but judging from the screen i can't tell this. I saw this kind of bug in other mods comments
I wouldn't think so. I run Anomaly at 1920x1080.

Ive already made your addon compatible with Mags Redux, its easy, specially all your ARs are 5.56x45s

Open the mod_system_ar_pack.ltx and remove all hud_fov values
