Are you tired of getting hit in the face by your fellow stalkers? Do you want to give them a (literally) bloody good reason to be afraid of you? If you do, then this funny little mod is for you!
EDIT (07/04/2022): This addon is no longer being worked on as I am pursuing other S.T.A.L.K.E.R. projects and mods for other games, though elements of this mod may be used in any future projects that I work on.
Bolts? Check. Rifle? Check. Ammo? Check. Fists? Umm... Check.
This mod replaces your knife with your fist. Yep. I said it. You may be wondering why I have created a mod that replaces your knife with your character's fist, and I'm doing the same thing as I write this...
This is just a small mod that I've been having a bit of fun with. Feel free to incapacitate as many stalkers as you wish with this mod.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- This mod is not compatible with any installations of Call of Chernobyl that use AO3 (Arsenal Overhaul). I have not tested this particular mod on STCoP, though I may make a mod of this type for that weapon pack. However, from what I've seen, the default knife attack animations in STCoP take on the form of a jab rather than a punch. Nonetheless, if anyone wants it, I'll consider putting some time aside and publishing it for everyone to see (and download).
- Please do NOT drop this weapon. If you drop this weapon at all, then it will disappear. I will take some time to investigate this issue further, though I would still advise against the exclusion of this revolutionary item from your inventory. I mean, why would you ever want to drop this fine weapon? You can punch Snorks and Bloodsuckers with it...
INSTALLATION:
1. Extract it, then copy the gamedata folder and use it to overwrite your current gamedata folder. Remember to back your files up!
2. To redo these changes that you would have made throughout the installation process of this mod, you may refer to the backup file that has also been included; with this file, repeat the previous step.
3. Remember to have fun with it! Please tell me about your experiences with this mod.
4. I know that this bit has nothing to do with the installation of this mod, but I urge you to punch as many stalkers as you can. Go... Do it... NOW!
