A nice addon that does what it says it does. That said, most people who play Last Day aren't looking for an easy experience, just a balanced/ reasonable one that's still significantly tougher than base Stalker or Call of Chernobyl.
Still, thank you for making this an option.
yeah exactly, the prices are so high and not reasonable. this should be more reasonable . but i was thinking of lowering the selling prices cause they are so high, that sometimes very bad weapons can be repaired and sold with benefit. i would like to hear your opinion about that.
In my opinion, it all depends on what makes sense and what kind of world you want to create. Food should certainly be *even cheaper* than what you made it with a few exceptions (e.g. Marlboros and Military Rations would probably still be a hefty sum).
Once again, civilian grade or surplus weapons/ ammo should be relatively affordable, but modern war materiel should be beyond the means of most Stalkers in the Zone.
This can apply to armour too - simple coats, jackets or old gas mask models should be fairly affordable. Even a regular Stalker suit shouldn't be too hard to get a hold of, but anything above that level of quality should probably still remain costly.
Raising selling prices is really good when dealing with regular stalkers (as long as you charge slightly less than the traders do, you should be able to sell quite easily), but might not make as much sense when dealing with a professional trader who knows all the bargaining tricks in the book.
nice to hear that i but the overall prices of everything was high, there was some outfits that cost between270000 and 290000 now they cost between 80000 and 97000 which is still high but more reasonable for maybe the best armors in game. the problem is that i didn't play the whole game yet and i'm comparing the prices to the original call of pripyat that has less dangerous mutants and environment and less items and weapons and in it the highest outfit price was if i'm not wrong about 45000. by the way the repair items and some other stuff prices haven't been modified and now the selling prices are 90% higher :D they were 150% sorry for the mistake.

is there any chance that i could have some help as to what values exactly adjust the carry weight? i don't quite like the default limit as i would be quite constantly returning to traders but i also dislike your setting of 800kg as i feel it is just borderline insanity :p :) would be waaay too much **** to sort through for me.
before i have been able to adjust it fine but now with last day the system for carry capacity has changed and i am unable to figure it out even after downloading your addon and having a peek at the code..
what i want is to set the total capacity up to around 190-245'ish seeing as that is approximately what military troops usually have to lugg around :q
Edit: hold up.. i just took i read of your description for the addon and i think i misunderstood.. if i popp this addon in will i be able to set the carry weight in the options up to 1000 and only that or will i have to have the price changes as well?? :ยง :,q
cause i reeeally really don't want the price changes. i like the challenge of grinding up with the basic stuff to be able to afford better gear :) would be no point to crap gear otherwise in my opinion.
Edit2: alternatively could i just popp the scripts folder in and have just the weight options without the price changes?.. i'll give that a try now.
hey m8 in options you can set the carry weight to the values you want but it won't show up in options if you're not loaded in game, and yes you can use the carry weight only by copying only mcw.script
man if you can play this game with the mod that i'm providing and finish it that would be a great effort. without this mod it'll annoy you a lot and i'd suggest you never go to any underground lab until you have outfits with high chemicals and psy protection

and thanks yeah i forgot to popp back with an update :) i managed to get it working perfectly by just popping the mcw.scripts over and it works really rather well
i would think that i would have to restart the game or reload my save for it to change but no! :D :p kinda dangerous though ;p if one has little self controll like a friend of mine then that setting will either change all the time as needed or just stay at 1k
anyways thanks for making this addon man i could not really do without it to be honest!

and there is not really any finishing with Call of Chernobyl(misery/last day) ;)
especially last day as you could go forever just catching side quests all the time :) but i'm sure i will get many many hours out of this! thanks again for making it bearable

Is the 90% selling increase meant to offset the lower selling price that comes with lowering trader prices? When I apply the 90% increase nothing is changed.
yeah the selling algorithm take the cost and lower it so it is affected by lowering the buying price which mean the selling price might be a bit close to what it was before but now you can repair a very bad weapon and sell it and still get a small buck
