Small flavor addon for Anomaly which adds different radio sounds V10
Strange signals and oddities now interfere with zone radio stations. Could it be undiscovered anomalies? Unknown forces at play? The Noosphere? Ghosts? Mutants? Stalkers messing around? Who knows? (I know.)
Some of these sounds were recorded by me on various WebSDRs, some made by me, some taken from other places, like the Signal Identification Wiki, which I would like to thank for their wonderful library of unidentified signals. Some lines were voiced by Yarkov_Desorec. Also a bunch of funny sounds where taken from OP 2.1/2.2, Lifeweb and some other places. I advise to occasionally whip out the RF receiver or tune into the PDA radio during emissions, maybe something cool is on?
I personally got tired of hearing the same jokes and references to Solyanka developer infighting, as well as Yurik calling in saying that Marked One just saved him, so this can hopefully serve as a fresh and creepy alternative to the dusty and overused "Tridognait" voicelines from way back in the early days of Solyanka. Also this is somewhat like my first foray into sound design.
Goes well with Catspaw's NERFS

An old anecdote among Stalkers is that of a certain Bandit named Lemon who managed to reach the Wishgranter during the goldrush following the first Brain Scorcher shutdown. As the sole survivor of his gang, having fought tooth and nail to reach the Sarcophagus he finally made it. Drenched in blood, he stood before the unspeakable might of the Wishgranter, whose booming voice commanded him to state his wish.
"I wish... to be free from these earthly boundaries." he said on his knees. The Wishgranter lit up.
After that his fate remains a mystery, but some have claimed that Lemon transcended into a higher state of being, becoming one with the fabric of reality itself. Some Stalkers report hearing his voice mixed with cellular interference on their gadgets, often giving advice or trying to be helpful. One even claimed that he had a conversation with the voice, who did not seem thrilled about his new plane of existence, to put it lightly...
Syncing the blowout timings.
It should be compatible with all modpacks as it only replaces some .ogg files and item_radio.script, no complex scripting or anything. You can freely install and uninstall at any point in your playthrough. There are compatibility patches for other addons that change item_radio.script.
Made by Bobzhe, feel free to use it in your own stuff.
Huge thanks to mint004, who allowed me to use their fantastic drawing for the preview.
Also very big thank you to Yarkov Desorec for helping with scripts, voice acting, for his "No Radio Commercials & No Radio Shows" addon which I used as a base, and for being incredibly friendly and helpful in explaining some details of stalker modding to me :)
If you have any issues with the addon, please let me know. I consider this mod finished, the only thing planned is synchronizing the blowout-related timings.

Thnx.
Much appreciated Stalker! It's addons like these that really add to the experience.
Thanks buddy :)
There are samples from Doom 3 in this mod, and with the overall amount of sounds from that game which are used in Anomaly in general it is now bizarrely abundant
Do you have a video?
It's coming soon :)
Edit: They're up
Really amazing I really like this type of plugin they give the disturbing touch to the game, I've been playing with it for a while while listening to the radio and it's amazing! and love it! great job! and my best wishes to you!
Thanks for the kind words, glad you like it
Beautiful mod! 10/10
Thank you :)
Obligatory "Does it work with X mod?" comment /jk excellent job with these. The Doom ones kinda stick out (too familiar for me) so I swapped them with some provided in "Horror Overhaul" by DesmanMetzger (included in GAMMA)
For those wondering the mod includes only ogg files, no scripts or configs so it's just a straight replacer. It is fully compatible with X, no new game, no uninstall woes.
I recommend OP include "Compatible with GAMMA/EFP/etc"in the description to save some headache. Thanks again for the mod.
Good to see my work. Also I had sent you an improved versions of files.
I had found a bugs. Files had stereo channels. I had changed to mono.
Fixed :)
Hello friend, could you make a patch for this Mod? Moddb.com
I tried to do it myself but, I found too many differences. And honestly I don't know anything about Scripts.
Done, check the new version.
do you think you could change the demonic harmony sound? maybe make it a longer loop or make it less common, was annoying before v8 and now its so much more frequent im pretty sure thats why i havent heard the new sounds.. and maybe add previews to updates you add or change sounds in? would be amazingg!
Could you say which file you mean specifically? Is it the georgian choir in noise_emission_7 or the one in the preview? Also good idea, I'll make some previews on the weekend
it is noise emission 7 yes, but hell yeah good to hear and i appreciate the fast feedback man.
Really late but I made a preview
Hey! did some testing with the hotfix and everything sounds great, only thing now i can think of is to correspond the cut out of established signals with the rf receiver as in the pda disconnection. what do you think?
Good to hear that everything works, I don't quite understand what you mean though. You mean making the two radio stations available to be picked up with the RF receiver?
sorry, i mean interference when the emissions or psi storms start, as the rf receiver starts basically as soon as the storm starts but with the pda it takes a lil time for everything to realize its going offline, could you align the times?
That's a good idea, I'll look into it :)
11.51/10. This one really adds up to the atmosphere. Great work, mate! (:
Hi bobzhe, sounds great! Your patch for NERFS (it is v1.2 now) is outdated but otherwise your mod is great and sounds are pretty spooky!
The 1.3 version of NERFS includes an install option for BI compatibility. It should no longer be necessary to use the versioned script patch in BI's archive.
I am kind of noob. Want to install this mod on Gamma.
There are many options witch checkboxes when I try to install the mod. Which I should choose?
Do you know if you have any of the named mods installed? If you have none of them then install the core BI mod and any of the optional ones. The only file which can potentially conflict is item_radio.ltx. I advise you to install NERFS and the BI patch that comes with it, that way there will be no conflicts.
Thanks for using my stuff and updating your project.
I will use some stuff for my remaster for SoC...
Thanks :)
Very cool mod, I loved hearing the mindless stalker gibberish, I imagined him subconsciously trying to use his radio to call for help but not being able to actually talk, very immersive.
i cant find his frequency, or does he appear randomly ?
The zombie appears on CHPR if I'm not mistaken
god damn this is creepy, love it.
