You finally take, relatively the same amount of damage as NPCs. Fan patch of the ballistics addon - v1.1 Now Supports Outfit Addon
I really like the ballistic mod addon, but it doesn't feel right dying to two shots while NPCs still require six times as much bullets to go down. This makes wearing armor pretty much useless too.
This mod makes bullet damage you receive half of Master's setting for a more balanced experience across all difficulties (this way, the only thing difficulty affects is NPC accuracy, not damage against you, which is what it should be IMO) environmental damage is untouched.
Also changes zombified stalkers accuracy to be twice as likely to miss, so there's less chance of a zombie sniping you from afar with their ak47su
Strong Mutants are also buffed to balance with stronger and more accurate ballistics inspired by Gunslinger:
Bloodsuckers - 3x more resistant to firepower
Burer - 3x more resistant vs bullets, 2x resistant vs explosion
Chimera - 3x more resistant vs bullets, explosion
Controller - 5x more resistant vs bullets, explosion
Pseudogiant - 4x more resistant vs bullets, explosion
Snork - 3x more resistant vs bullets, explosions
Mutants are scary again, but not by much admittedly. If I could figure out how to edit their damage, then that would be awesome
