Adds constant background radiation because some nutcase thought it was a good idea.
The further North you go the worse it gets; only Cordon, the Bar, and underground maps are completely safe.
This addon is compatible with pretty much any version of CoC and all other addons, but radiation values are balanced around vanilla 1.5 outfit protection so you might have some issues if you use it with a mod that changes that.
To customize radiation intensity, open gamedata\scripts\background_radiation.script and edit the values in the table near the top.
I always wanted some crazy places that require damn 5 bubbles and stacks of radprotect.
Nice
lol, the rating on this mod makes me think its the most fair mod
I Love it!
There's a version of MISERY that does this, too, and it makes sense because in real life you'd have to be careful of checking the background radiation in certain parts of the Zone (*cough* red forest and kopachi *cough*).
True, very true. By the way, how bad is the radiation this time actually? Is a single artefact enough to protect my stalker (from their level 1 to 5) or more than one is required?
Honestly I have no idea, I'm using CoM right now instead of CoC and in CoM there are no artifacts that absorb radiation, they're all radioactive
It makes sense about the artefacts. After all everything there IS a radioactive zone. I`ll give it a try.
Dont know anything about the mod but pic is too good lmao
My precious radiation....
for what version of coc is this ? update in name plz
It's compatible with any version of CoC.
A mod that makes logical sense in stalker. Thank you for this!
tested it, love it, but i leave blood marks everywere xd
Will be resolved in CoC 1.5
I like it tho :(
The mod works really well, it could be installed and un-installed right in the middle of the game, no savegame problems. A "must have" addition to any Stalker`s collection.
Only downside is an animation break on the actor making him move very nervous.
This is very annoying if the player shadow is activated.
The idea itself is brilliant^^
I wouldn't play the game without it anymore
I love you
True Radioactive Experience
by chance, do you know of a way to make this not apply to emission covers? I can't find a working solution anywhere.
