Anomaly has a basic Anomaly Detector, which is not available for the player by default. Arszi felt that anomalies were too easy with the setting "Anomaly detector sound" enabled, but he was in situations several times, where it would've been nice to have some proximity warning still.

To install it just drag and drop in Anomaly's root folder. It works will all betas, RC15, RC16 and so on.
IMPORTANT: DISABLE the difficulty option "Anomaly detector sound" to make the Anomaly Detector device work!
This addon gives detection logic for the Anomaly Detector, and makes it available for the player. It can be purchased from Sakharov or Hermann. Factions who are hostile with the Ecologists can use disguise. Svarog detector will beep too when encountering an anomaly.
I offer no compatibility patches, however, if you want to ask for help to make this work I'll gladly help. All files included in the mod are neccesary! Textures included are needed so device seems to be on as new RC betas scrapped the green words from it's hud in it's textures. The script only needed one simple function to be changed to be fully functional again. And the .ltx is needed because we do not want the Anomaly Detector device to load the new hud (as I previusly said, it's void.)
