Vehicle Update: Soviet Yak
Aircraftkiller has finished up the texture work on the Soviet Yak, and has made two renders showing it off. Both are in our gallery.
The Soviet Yak will be a controllable unit in Red alert: A Path Beyond. It flies, it mows down infantry, and it looks awesome. The Yak is the most common Soviet aircraft. While it is merely a pain to heavy units, the Yak is very effective against infantry targets, and some buildings as well. However, the Yak is not a good choice for careless pilots. One or two sneaky Rocket Soldiers can easily take down a Yak if it's pilot isn't watching for them.
