For the people that find the lighting intensity in the video too strong I made this little comparison GIF animation which shows a few of many possible examples of how differently the game can be setup to look on the Client:
So if you don't like the Bloom... just change or disable it,
If you don't like the Depth of Field... just change or disable it,
If you don't like the HDR Rendering... just change or disable it,
If you don't like the SoftShadows... just change or disabled them,
If you'd like a different ColorGrading ... just set it ... etc etc etc

Stay tuned for more updates...
This looks like all those "next-gen" enb's and reshade's people post for Skyrim, Fallout, etc. The bloom is far too strong to look pleasing, and the dynamic DoF is, again, overdone and blurs the background far too much far too often (needlesly sensitive). As for the lighting, it's too extreme, and it looks like someone smeared vaseline over the lens. Sorry, but this design doesn't look good.
It seems my client's rendering settings is not everyone's thing. Some really like it and some really don't but no matter how often I repeat, that the visuals are completely customize-able to everyone's individual/personal liking, it seems to be something that often gets ignored or misunderstood by people that dislike my personal visual preference...
Maybe I should create an interactive demonstration in form of an animated GIF to showcase to people how unique and different the same game client can look with different clientside visual settings/configurations...

Is this just using a modification of The Dark Mod or something else entirely? In any case, HOLY BLOOM BATMAN, those lighting effects are way too strong. Don't get me wrong, everything looks nice, but you should really think about toning down the intensity of the bloom and how washed out it gets with bright lighting, because while it might make for nice screenshots in certain areas, it's terrible for actual gameplay. I see in your other comment you linked to a gif showing that you can turn effects on and off, but is it *just* on/off or do you have sliders that can adjust the intensity of certain effects?
Some settings are on/off switches... others can be set in various degrees of intensity via cvar float values.
I'm guessing his feet will be awfully hot lol.
Is it me or does this look like a Doom 4 version for D&D?
That could be quite a matching description of what this project eventually might turn out to be... It was partially born out of the lack of a proper fps/tps co-op dungeon-crawl experience in the industry.
That explains certain things.
I can tell that underneath all that postprocessing is actually a pretty decent level. Nice work!
