We've submitted The Line for the Independent Game Festival! There are about 400 entries this year and all the games seem to be great. If everything goes fine and Apple approves us then yes, it will be in the appstore in about 1 or 2 weeks. The first update with the multiplayer and ipad version will arrive soon after and the PC version with an editor shortly after the update :-)
Can't wait to play it, looks stunning and frustrating, just the way i love it :D
I'm not going to lie, the game gets hard relatively quickly but i kept it this way because it is also very rewarding when succeeding. Also, when really mastering all the little techniques like boxing Eddy, it becomes easier.
The multiplayer is also going to be funny. Very old school minded, it will place 2 players on each side of symmetric levels. They will compete to get the blue orbs faster than their opponent then exit by the portal. Players are still allowed to draw and erase the same way they do in the single with the addition of some power ups. It creates very funny battle and a big mess of lines :D
That being said, the multi isn't coming until the first update so we make sure that everything runs perfectly :-)
