Legends of Strife will never be Pay to Win. That goes against everything we are trying to create. Since we intend to make Strife free to play we decided to add micro transactions for cosmetic items. Now that that's cleared up: Bitcoins! The new online currency. We wanted to show our support so we made a system that gives players the ability to buy Strife's in-game currency, called Star Shards, with Bitcoins. Later we'll add real money conversion but for right now Bitcoin is the way to go.
I'm not as clued up on Bitcoins as Mr Programmer so if you want extra information drop a comment and I'll get him to answer. I'll tell you what I do know: each Strife account gets a Bitcoin unique public address that you can make payments into. The Bitcoin will then get converted to Star Shards and sent to your characters in-game (Star Shards are shared across characters). The transaction will take a minute or two to show up in your inventory.
We also added fading to entities and terrain models when they come in and out of view.
And added apostrophes ( ' ) to the font.
