Blizzard have been half arse help full as always :P

I have contacted blizzard and got their standard half arse reply to my simple question: "Can i make a mod bassed on WC3?" and they reply "Bla Bla Bla check the forums". So after digging around and finding thier legal forums i have found this:

"Can I do a total conversion of your games?

Yes. We've seen some very polished and fun conversions for our games, and have no problems with total conversions so long as they are for personal use and do not infringe our End User License Agreement included in our games, nor the rights of any other parties including copyrights, trademarks or other rights."

So i took a look at the WC3 EULA and it states this:
"
Subject of License herinabove, you may not in whole or in part copy, photocopy, reproduce, sublicense, translate, reverse engineer, derive source code, modify, disassemble, decompile, create a source code equivalent, create derivative works based on the Program, or remove any proprietary notices or labels on the programm, or allow others to do so, without prior consent, in writing of Blizzard.
"

Which sound like it would not allow us too make this mod, but wait theres more! :P

The WoW EULA does not have this section in it i believe, (correct me if im wrong: "http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/legal/termsofuse.html " ) so technically we can still do this and say we based our characters of the WoW ones (which all exsist in WC3 aswell).

So im going to start modeling the Moon Priestess. :P
