The new episode will be called Legendary Suffering and will put you through the meat grinder. The latest HOTFIX added to the files today has made the maps I played so far for the new episode run smoothly. Without the patch the maps were completely unplayable as soon as I started the map. So, the patch is definitely making a difference on my end, but I need feedback from others to see if it helps more than just me. So please install the HOTFIX and get back to me here at ModDB. The patch isn't gonna work miracles or anything but if you could run BEC ok at best you should see improvement. I went with an open beta approach with this patch in hopes that I could get more feedback at a faster pace and if it works out everybody can start using the patch and enjoy some BEC with even better frame rates if you weren't already experiencing that.
New Episode In The Works!!!!!!
There is a really nice map pack being made that contains slaughter maps and once it is complete, I will be implementing it into BEC. I've played 2 of the maps so far and they are full of top-notch mayhem. After finishing one map I had killed over 900 enemies. So BEC is getting an overhaul to refine and further optimize this crazy little mod.

I would like to know when you'll have Blood Extra Crispy fixed for the steam deck, I keep getting these errors and I have the logs if you want them.
PS: THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN RELEASED WITH THE ORIGINAL BLOOD IN 1997!
I’m sorry I didn’t see this comment. If you search through the comments section on the main page of this mod I’ve had conversations with people about this. I think there was a solution that was found but I’m not sure. I don’t own a steam deck so I have no way of figuring this out on my own. Thanks for the kind words.
So far, for me, nothing beats Extra Crispy with Death Wish, I am waiting for the new DW to release, but I am very happy that there is going to be a new episode!
Happy to read you are happy for the new BEC episode! I've been working on this and I don't plan to beat Death Wish or any other existent mod for Blood. My goal is to make a really hard episode full of carnage. It's gonna be hard but I'm confident it'll work.

Hey there. I'm working on the episode, and I don't have a release for this. For now, the 1st map is completed, the 2nd is in the works and the other levels are in a good shape, but there's still work to do.
