On April 16, the next public build of the fan transfer of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. to the Unreal Engine 5 engine was released. This is not a release version yet, but now the Shadow of Chernobyl plot can be completed in its entirety, and a lot of bugs have been fixed. At the present moment, particles and the change of time of day do not work in the game yet. Optimization problems remain. The work on porting locations from the Clear Sky and the Call of Pripyat has not yet been completed. They are already present in the build, but without processing and textures.

With the release of the new build, an editor became available in which everyone can edit almost all components. Modmakers can already develop their own mods on this platform. Cut scenes can be made directly from the editor. Locations from other mods can be ported, but there may be difficulties with this.
