modDB's hosts, OktaGone will be performing a server software replacement on modDB's primary fileserver tonight.

This will mean a 4-8 hour outage for the server itself, and a more widespread outage of upto 12 hours for DNS to reconverge.

We appoligise for this outage, however it is highly necessary to accomidate new code integration for modDB 2.0, plus a number of operating system fixups.

We will keep a temporary page up for you while the outage is underway to keep you updated.

This isnt modDB 2.0, just upgrades and code changes to prepare for it. modDB 2 is still in development.

Major Changes in V2.0

- New site design (much cleaner / easier to understand)
- Ability to support multiple languages
- Templatable (so design of the site can be changed easily)
- Mod listing will be cleaned out
- Mod profiles design will change so they are easier to follow
- Ability to show news / mods from only the games you are interested in
etc...

There is tons more planned changes (about 200 in total, some noticable others hidden) but basically they will make this site alot more powerful and even more enjoyable to browse for the gamer and modders alike
