343 Industries reveal Halo 4 is coming in 2012, but is it coming to the Xbox 360 or its successor?
At the close of Microsoft’s E3 conference Don Mattrick rounded things off with an explosive trailer for Halo 4. The first game in the series to be developed by 343 Industries and not Bungie the trailer opened to reveal a star cluster that later turned out to be the insides of the Master Chiefs slumbering body.
As his heart rate increased, we could here the cries for help from Cortana. As John 117’s heart started the trailer revealed that he was still in the cryo tub he entered at the end of Halo 3. As the ship began disintegrating around him, he grabbed Cortana and started to exit the ship.

With half of it already destroyed from the climax of Halo 3, Master Chief fired boosters from his back and grabbed some sort of attachment for his rifle before staring out into space and onto what looked to be yet another Forerunner station, like the original Halo rings.
With a release date of ‘Holiday 2012’ revealed, Microsoft didn’t show what console the game would be released on. Obviously, an Xbox of some sort, but it wasn’t confirmed at the trailers end that Halo 4 would on the 360.
Halo 4 is the beginning of a new trilogy for the series and will focus on a new and far more dagerous enemy than the Covenant.

I hope he stayed in the cryosleep for at least a few decades, because at the end of Halo 3 humanity was left on ruins, with all the human fleet nearly wiped out and Earth left in ruins.
I would took a shitload of time to recover and I would be somewhat annoying to see humanity have its *** kicked again and then save by MC again.
that **** is forerunner in the trailer, i wanna see this. and ******* greedy microsoft will never let halo on pc again :(
i hope its for the 360, because im saving for a new computer, not another xbox...

yeah but im wondering when will they make Halo 3 for PC since a 4th Halo is making its way
I think there wont be any halo pc game since it is exclusive for xbox the last year.
They'll do halo for pc as like a 20 year super anniversary edition with like two extre missions in halo wars. They did it too doom 3. Dooms been released like 6 times now.
I know its only for xbox, but theres been rumors of a new xbox etc. but it wud be nice if for pc, but i doubt cuz halo 2 failed terribly.
Still, I would like it if they made it for PC. I really like Halo but I've been unable to play any of the games since Halo 2.
I don't want to play it on Xbox since I hate Xbox controllers (and I don't have an xbox). =P
Me too i hate Xbox controllers and i find it easier to play it on PC.
I don't HAVE an Xbox OR Xbox 360. The only exposure I had of Halo was a week at my cousin's in Ohio. Which, as I live in Minnesota, doesn't happen very often. I WANT HALO FOR PC!
The only reason why I would want halo for Pc is to play the free multiplayer :). Other than that, i love Xbox 360. The controlers are actualy made for gaming and you dont have to search through 60 buttons to do some action. Xbox 360 is realy easy to get use to.
This is after the fact but the anniversary edition was awesome, So much nostalgia. They don't make them like that anymore.
