My mod The Somme Valley has been hosted with Half-Life Gaming since the beginning (going on 6 months I belive), and I've found them to be highly reliable, and the services are great (25 POP3 and/or re-direction e-mails, 3 MySQL and 3 PortquseSQL, Mailing Lists, Multiple FTP users, access to edgeFiles, etc.).
So don't hesitate, get a host that will be around for a good long while, and not go down once a week, or forget to pay their bloody hosting bills. And if your site isn't Half-Life, check www.edgenetwork.org for other gaming related sites on their network, there's something for everybody!
