Are you a gamer? Then read on to find out how to support fellow gamers!
Gamers have their own culture, as shown by their natural habitat. Dim lights, a bright computer screen, and the icon of their existence--their PC or gaming console--is just a few of the many technological items that fill a gamer's life.
Game Overdrive is collecting gamer photos to create a collection (coupled with an article) of a gamer's natural habitat and lifestyle. Send your images (either a link or an attachment) to me to be posted in a new image gallery. Be sure to include the name or handle you wish to be put under your photo. You can also include a brief summary of your gaming lifestyle and/or routine.
By sending photos of yourself, you acknowledge that you give Game Overdrive the right to display the photo in a new Image Gallery/Article to come soon. Game Overdrive, in turn, will respect your privacy and rights and will remove your image at any time you desire. We will also respect all stipulations you add when submitting your image.
Gamers Manifesto:

i abhor the gross stereotypes of this!
you're simply proliferating the assumption that true gamers sit in the dark with the only light coming from their screens.
'gamers' dont have their own subculture, if anything they sit at the bottom ranks of geekdom, below knee socks even.
k i've ranted enough, but seriously, true gamers dont sit in the dark and play games
they are just normal people, who play games.
speak for yourself...
Where did I say that's all gamers do? But I want pictures of the massive cans of empty caffiene, the smiles or frowns on one's face when a game ends, the excitement and anticipation felt when a team wins a huge clan battle, etc.
Gamers do have a culture. It's level of intensity varies, but where do you think 1337 came from? Gamers and hackers. How did the caffiene industry become so profitable? Gamers helped.
This is an optional thing; you are not forced to send your images. While I value your feedback, I don't value your rude remarks. If you don't like it, ignore it.
hehe. I can't wait to show off my classic deep dank basement with dim/half-working studio lights. A billion wires running from floor-to-ceiling and vice versa. The place is always at 60 degrees fahrenheit regaurdless of how hot it gets outside. The carpet is only covering 3/4 of the room, the rest is all moldy tile as old as the house itself. The crux of the room is the two imposing cabinet speakers (still working) that are decked out with a funky-patriotic look from my Dad's band in the 60s. Then there's the comp, and it's left undecorated. It is to be beheld in all it's naked glory. Plain, but powerful.
It's really quite an ugly sight, but to me it's one of the most friendly and approachable places I know.
I just love saying "lol" and "omg" (spelled out with the letters mind you, and with obnoxious inflection)to various people in the real world, and with almost no justiification.
someone cracks a bad joke "ROFLMAO"
I think it must have been Pure Ownage that showed me the comedic value possible when you call a girl a "total noob" and have her sit there with a cocked head and a dumbfounded expression.
lol, nice, Handshakes! Be sure to send your image(s) in!
