ZWolf is a creation meant to bring Wolfenstein modding out of the dark ages and bring it into a semi-modern light. Using an ultra enhanced Doom engine specialy optimized for Wolfenstein, not only with a game be release using ZWolf, but people will be able to create their own games with as much flexability as the ZDoom engine, the sourcecode ZWolf uses as its foundation. With all of the advantages of ZDoom, plus a multitude of changes and additions to optimize it for use as a Wolfenstein game base. Before ZWolf, making Wolfenstein 3-D addons and TC's meant days, even months of source code changes, but in the end you could only make so many, as the DOS memory limit of 32K was very restricting. It took all of that to do only a fraction of what ZWolf will beable to do. Another limit, probably the most restricting in the creative sense was the level size. Only 64 by 64, you can't make an in depth game with that! Doom itself has a VERY large level size limit, exponentialy larger than...

Currently, I am now in the planning stages of my own game to be made using ZWolf. I do not have alot of time on my hand to make it. But it will be done none the less. Currently, I am now in the planning stages of my own game to be made using ZWolf. I do not have alot of time on my hand to make it. But it will be done none the less. I would also like to mention, a high-resolution version of ZWolf will be made avaliable in the future. Probably after I make the first game.

In other news, I am also starting a project using an unmodified version of ZDoom, soon to have its own ModDB page. However, the ZWolf projects come first.

Also, I would like to point out the fact that I need a webmaster with experience installing mods on phpBB. Look in the help wanted section of this mod for more information on that.

Another thing I have been thinking about is offering link exchange deals with other mod creators. If they like my mod and I like theirs, we place links to eachothers modDB and websites on our pages. This offers exposure for both parties. Anyone interested in that should contact me at nick112147@hotmail.com.
