Familiar Commands
DarkPlaces often has different names for the same commands as other engines. Often DarkPlaces had the feature well before any other engine.
Zircon has the following commands for user-convenience:
- sky
- game
- host_timescale
- find
- freezeall
- edict
- edicts

Select List Of Some "Things That Cannot Picture"
- Zircon purges model/sounds on gamedir change. This avoids inappropriate models/sounds to be used which can lead to a crash in some cases.
- The cursor is always in insert mode with overwrite mode gone. Overwrite mode does not much exist anywhere these days except terminal apps. I don't even know if a Mac has a key for that, for instance.
- Type "nostartdemos 1" in console. Exit. Restart. Start demos will never happen when starting Zircon.
