Test Replacement Texture

This shows how to test a replacement texture in DarkPlaces and how to clear it to normal.

This is one reason why the latest Zircon autocompletes more commands, to test this out.

An example of replacing a texture, using a colorful one for illustration

"showtex 1" in console enables texture pointer

rtex0

Now to replace that wbrick1_5 with a different texture. Note that Zircon can autocomplete (CTRL-SPACE or TAB) both the wbrick1_5 and the replacement texture provided you give it the textures/path/ so it knows where to look for completion.

rtex1

Result:

rtex2

vid_restart resets the textures (or pressing ALT-ENTER resets the textures)

rtex4

Reloaded textures, changes gone

rtex3

I did not know DarkPlaces had this feature to replace textures in real-time, once aware implemented autocomplete functions in Zircon because having a feature and having it easy to use are different things and without autocompletion this feature would require some work to use.

In fact, a month ago or so I told someone who has helped with knowledge on rtlights and DarkPlaces issues why I didn't think DarkPlaces could do texture replacement easily, but the feature already existed!
