What is Q4 X-Battle? Q4 X-Battle in its current version is a service modification for quake4. It was and will be designed for competition uses like ladders, leagues and tournaments. In the future we aim to bring more features and more gamemodes as well as extra-content like models and maps. So, if you're a ladder or tournament supervisor and looking for a serious mod for quake4, then you should try X-Battle and then decide. Hiho, here we go again with the updated version of XBM 0.23, the q3 enemy sounds are removed and replaced by some internal q4base sounds. Ofcourse you can still use the s_altEnemySounds command. Be sure you try both options: s_altEnemySounds 1 and s_altEnemySounds 2 Anyway, this is not the final solution. We are working on new and better enemysounds and you can expect something in one of the next releases. You can download the new version here (slow!)
